Director Christopher Hill Joins Hey Presto! For His First U.S. Spot Representation
- Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018
Hey Presto! has added director Christopher Hill to the roster for his first U.S. commercial representation. Hill is best known for his music video work for Architecture in Helsinki, Jet and most notably ‘Free Your Mind’ starring Alexander Skarsgard (Tarzan, True Blood) for Cut Copy. Originally from Australia, he has directed commercials for clients such as Ford, Aldi, Cadbury, Toshiba, Lynx and Doritos. His work has won Cannes, AWARD, ADFEST, New York International Advertising Awards and D&AD.
Hill’s work is performance driven. He combines comedy storytelling with his unique visual style, resulting in engaging, humorous and fearless content. He creates detailed, stylized worlds and characters, always with high-end visuals.
“Christopher is what happens when an artist meets advertising. His comedy food work is bold and shows a different way to approach the category not often seen. Perhaps what makes Chris so interesting his ability to combine his experimental visual style with performance comedy. We’re pumped to unleash Christopher here in the U.S” said Tim Bathurst, Founder/EP.
‘Tim and Hey Presto share my values on creating quality work with a healthy dose of the weird, wonderful and beautiful. I’m definitely looking forward to new opportunities and seeing what we can build together’ said Christopher.
