Lost & Found, a new television pilot from writer/director Haroula Rose, will be world premiering at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival as part of Tribeca TV. The first public screening at Tribeca is scheduled for April 23, followed by a screening at the Bentonville Film Festival, co-founded by Geena Davis, on May 4.

As part of Tribeca TV’s second year, submissions were opened up for the first time to independently produced pilots, and Lost & Found was selected for the inaugural showcase program. This slate of selections represents a group of fresh, strong voices implementing their skills into the episodic space. Lost & Found was originally chosen to be part of Time Warner's OneFifty project, an incubator created to give artists funding and resources to pursue passion projects for ever-evolving audiences.  Additionally, Lost & Found will be screened at Bentonville Film Festival as part of the festival’s first Episodic Content Competition.

Lost & Found stars Melonie Diaz, Terence Nance, Will Janowitz, Jennifer Lafleur, Abby Wathen, Avi Rothman, Peter Thomson, Nick Thurston and Laura Lee Botsacos, and was produced by Valeria Lopez and executive produced by Melonie Diaz and Haroula Rose. The series follows a group of friends as they try to navigate the absurdities of life in modern day Los Angeles, where the backdrop serves as a metaphorical creative space that allows the characters to transform themselves as much as the city evolves around them.

Rose’s passion for telling real stories about complex, empathetic characters shines through in the pilot episode, which follows a couple as they decide to have an “unwedding” to signify their conscious transition to divorce.  Mixed emotions transpire among the rest of the cast as they deal with confronting the issues in their own relationships.

Last year, Rose’s film Wedding Dress premiered on IndieWire after winning numerous awards including Best Short at the LA Arthouse and Atlanta ShortsFest Film Festivals, as well as two Best Actress awards at the LA Indie Film Fest and Women’s Indie Fest. Wedding Dress is the second installment of the True Love Trilogy, a trio of films written and directed by Rose and produced by Glass Bead Films. The films center around three disparate, ordinary people who suddenly find themselves plunged into extraordinary circumstances.  The first piece, Baby Crazy, was named an official selection at the LA Comedy Fest and Madrid International Film Festival, among others.

Recently Rose garnered industry attention with the news of her role as producer in the upcoming film Permanent, starring Patricia Arquette and Rainn Wilson.  Additionally, her screenplay adaptation of Bonnie Jo Campbell’s novel Once Upon A River will soon enter casting and pre-production.
