American Cinema Editors has unveiled details for EditFest Global 2022, which will be presented as an in-person, virtual and livestreamed hybrid event on August 27 and 28, in celebration and exploration of the work of a global community of editors.

The two-day event kicks off with the return of EditFest in person at Disney Studios in Burbank, California on Saturday, August 27 and online breakout sessions. Sunday, August 28, livestream and virtual offerings continue with a keynote conversation with Eddie Hamilton, ACE (Top Gun: Maverick), followed by a panel of estimable international editors including Alexander Berner, ACE (Cloud Atlas, Resident Evil), Jean-Daniel Fernandez Qundez, ACE (Lupin, The Witcher), Ahmed Hafez (Moon Knight, Paranormal), Kasper Leick (Borgen, Royal Affair) and Melissa Parry, SAGE (Queen Sono, Senzo: Murder of a Soccer Star).  Both Saturday and Sunday panels are followed by livestreamed breakout sessions where editors and moderators, from around the world, are available to share experiences and network with attendees.
