2018 was a banner year for industry leader CharlieUniformTango. The company increased its roster of talent, range of services, and the scope of the work it does for clients worldwide–an auspicious way to kick-off 2019, the company’s 24th year in business.

“Animated talking animals, recognition by Sundance, production projects in South America and beyond, the opening of our new Austin studio … 2018 was a whirlwind,” said Lola Lott, CharlieUniformTango principal/CEO. “We’ve come a long way since Jack Waldrip and I set up shop back in 1995. Our company has grown into a large and talented family with global reach. I’m so proud of everyone who has worked so hard to help make this company the success it is today. And I’m especially grateful to our local, national, and international clients.”

CharlieUniformTango’s Dallas and Austin studios continue to work seamlessly to provide clients a single-source solution. The CharlieUniformTango family includes eight directors, ten editors, six producers, a four-person audio team, a full VFX/CGI department, animators, designers, and colorists, all on-staff for commercials, feature films, short films, documentaries, music videos, and the creation and production of digital content for the clients it serves around the world.

Over the past year, CharlieUniformTango has expanded its independent film work with post-production on four full-length feature films including 2019 Sundance Official Selection Sister Aimee (narrative), Brotherhood: America’s First Muslim Fraternity (documentary) and Assassin 33 A.D. (narrative).  The studio is currently working on Shakespeare at Winedale (documentary).

Recent commercial work includes campaigns for Flexjet, Kimberly-Clark, Under Armor, Aspercreme, SubZero, Salvation Army, Lexus, Interstate Batteries, Diet Dr. Pepper and more

“I see 2019 as a great opportunity to continue our growth as we approach the 25th anniversary of tango,” said Lola Lott. Here’s wishing all our friends, supporters, and clients a very Happy New Year. We plan to make it a year to remember.”
