    HPA Awards Unveil Creative Category Winners

    Annual Celebration Recognizes Exceptional Achievements in Post Production, Engineering Excellence, and Creativity & Innovation

    LOS ANGELES -- (SPW) --

    The HPA Awards turned the spotlight on the exemplary contributions of the post production industry tonight, honoring work in color grading, sound, editing, restoration, and visual effects for theatrical features, commercials, and episodics. Held at the Television Academy’s Wolf Theatre, additional honors included the HPA Judges’ Award for Creativity and Innovation presented to Sphere, the Las Vegas venue being heralded as the future of entertainment. In addition, the previously announced winners of the coveted Engineering Excellence awards were honored.

    To acknowledge the heart, spirit and difficulties of the past year the evening included an HPA-produced short film, “Tribute to Post;” a heartfelt salute to the resilient members of the post production community. Directed by Clyde Bessey of Origin Point, the short features commentary from industry luminaries Wendy Aylsworth; Jill Bogdanowicz; Mike Brodersen; Larry Chernoff; Michael Cioni; Carolyn Giardina; Seth Hallen; Nikki Jee; Rob Legato, ASC; Loren Nielsen; Sabrina Plisco, ACE; Leon Silverman and Mandy Walker, ASC-ACS.

    Among Methods & Madness notable achievements in 2025 was its long-form branded content film for Samsung, via Edelman directed by Casey & Ross, the founding duo behind Methods & Madness.

    2025 proved to be a landmark year for Methods & Madness, the full-service production studio known for championing visionary artists who push creative boundaries, founded by directors/partners Casey Lock and Ross Zuchowski. With a diverse slate of projects spanning long-form documentary storytelling, mockumentary-style comedy, and music-driven advertising, the studio showcased its range, agility, and creative problem-solving across some of its most ambitious assignments to date.
    “This year was an important year in the growth of Methods & Madness,” Zuchowski says. “Despite many challenges, both within the industry and with the economy overall, we were able to do some amazing work for clients who recognize the creative value we bring.
