Andrea MacArthur, editor at Whitehouse Post
    LONDON -- (SPW) --

A defining voice in editorial for over three decades, Andrea MacArthur is reuniting with Whitehouse Post, a company she co-founded in 1990, bringing her legendary craft, irreverent wit, and unparalleled experience back to the company she helped build. Andrea’s career began in the cutting room, working as a runner and assistant editor before moving swiftly into full editorial roles across some of the UK’s most respected post houses. A founding partner of Peepshow and later Bread and Butter, Andrea’s reel reflects decades of cultural and commercial impact.

From unforgettable Super Bowl hits like Budweiser’s “Puppy” (Jake Scott, RSA, Anomaly), to genre-defining campaigns like Halo “Believe” (Rupert Saunders, MJZ, McCann 215) and Diesel Jeans “Little Rock” (Traktor, Paradiset DDB), Andrea’s editorial work has shaped the language of modern advertising. Her collaborations with iconic directors such as Tarsem, Dante Ariola, and Kathryn Bigelow have been pivotal to campaigns for Levi’s, Amazon, Barbie, WhatsApp, Johnnie Walker, and many more.

She has worked with leading agencies including BBH, Fallon, BBDO West, and Anomaly, with a recent standout collaboration being a two-year run of WhatsApp campaigns featuring real people, directed by the acclaimed Lauren Greenfield. MacArthur’s craft has earned a remarkable haul of accolades, including a Cannes Grand Prix for Halo “Believe,” Clio Gold for Mercedes “Soul,” and many more across Cannes Lions, D&AD, AICP, APA, BTAA, and The One Show.

Despite her many accolades, Andrea approaches her work with characteristic humility and humor. “The biggest challenge is the same as it ever was,” she says. “Telling some stories, a bit of craft here and there, trying not to fret over algorithms and focus groups. All with a smidgin of civility. Life’s too short.” On her return to Whitehouse, Andrea reflects on the studio’s roots. “We thought it might be time to put the band back together, and the more we talked the more we thought it, so we did”

Whitehouse Partner/ Editor Russell Icke elaborates: “Andrea is my mentor, my friend, my inspiration on so many levels. Simply the greatest editor I’ve ever had the pleasure to work alongside.  We’re beyond thrilled she is coming back to the fold.”

Whitehouse Post Proudly Promotes Tommy Hill To Editor

    Wednesday, April 15, 2026
Tommy Hill, Editor at Whitehouse Post

Whitehouse Post has promoted Tommy Hill to editor. Since joining Whitehouse Post 6 years ago, Hill has built a body of work spanning large-scale commercial storytelling, intimate, human-driven narratives, and documentary filmmaking. His editing is distinguished by clarity, rhythm, and a strong point of view. “I was drawn to Whitehouse by the quality of the work and the opportunity to be part of something with a real creative pulse,” says Hill. “It felt like a place where I could grow, collaborate with incredible people, and push myself. I’m excited to continue building relationships across both the UK and the US, and to create work that really lasts.” Hill’s recent work reflects both range and sensitivity, from Toyota’s visually rich Mermaid campaign, to emotionally resonate pieces including Sandy Hook Promise (A Teddy Bear’s Dream) and Telekom (Unlimited). Beyond advertising, Hill has carved out a meaningful space in documentary filmmaking, recently completing the short film “Spiders” centered on elderly women in Ukraine during the Russian invasion, and is currently working on a feature length documentary following a man with a brain tumor attempting to become the first person to run the length of India. In addition to his editing work, Hill recently served as Head Judge at the Shiny Awards, supporting and spotlighting emerging directing talent. Hill began his career at Sky Media, planning and scheduling advertising across its channels, before moving to Discovery Channel as a video editor working across programming and network content. He joined Whitehouse Post in 2020 and has since built a reputation as a thoughtful and versatile editor. He holds a degree in Media Arts from St Mary’s University in... Read More
