Two of Canada’s most trusted audio professionals join JAM’s growing sound team

    TORONTO -- (SPW) --

JAM Post is proud to announce the addition of Mike Woroniuk and Paul Shubat, two of the industry’s most respected Re-Recording Mixers to its expanding sound department. Known for their artistry, collaboration, and deep commitment to storytelling, both bring a track record of award recognition and creative excellence to the Toronto-based studio.

Mike “Hank” Woroniuk is widely regarded for his musical, story-driven approach to mixing – a style shaped by his early years as a working musician. After building his career at Deluxe, Technicolor, and Formosa, Mike has become a go-to mixer for creators looking to bring emotional nuance and polish to their projects. Having collaborated with JAM Post founders Janice Ierulli and Mark Shnuriwsky for many years on acclaimed shows such as Flashpoint and Wynonna Earp, the move to officially join the JAM team was a seamless next step.

“Joining JAM felt like coming full circle,” says Woroniuk. “There’s a natural creative rhythm we’ve built over time – one that pushes us all to do our best work.”

Paul Shubat is a lifelong sound artist whose career has spanned music, television, film, and everything in between. After cutting his teeth in Toronto’s legendary studio scene – working on award-winning music and commercial projects – Paul transitioned into long-form sound, quickly becoming a sought-after Foley, ADR, and Re-Recording Mixer. He’s known for his versatility, grace under pressure, and ability to bring out the best in every mix. Paul has held senior roles at Dome, Technicolor, and Formosa, earning recognition across both Canadian and U.S. awards circuits.

“Great sound comes from great collaboration,” says Shubat. “That’s what I found at JAM – a team that cares about the work and each other.”

The arrival of Woroniuk and Shubat marks a significant expansion of JAM Post’s sound capabilities and further cements its position as one of Toronto’s premier post-production studios.

“These are two of the most trusted and talented mixers in the business and we are really thrilled to have them!”, says JAM Co-Founder Janice Ierulli. “They bring not only technical expertise, but the kind of creative care and professionalism that ensures the very best for all of our clients.”
