Latest animated content helps move the brand forward
ThoughtSpot, a leader in data analytics has teamed up with award-winning creative group leftchannel to help translate the sophisticated narratives around business intelligence into clear and engaging animated content.
What began as branding support for ThoughtSpot’s annual Beyond Conference has become an on-going strategic collaboration between leftchannel and ThoughtSpot’s marketing and creative teams as they pursue specific campaign, and holistic brand goals.
ThoughtSpot’s powerful AI-driven platform allows users to explore, slice, and analyze large quantities of business data quickly. But, the idea of data analytics can still seem expansive, overwhelming or abstract at times. Leftchannel presented branded animation as a means to feature more benefit-forward depictions of ThoughtSpot’s value.
“In seeking a better understanding of the ThoughtSpot product and brand, we saw an opportunity to expand on the brand identity and allow room for character animations that could tell more human stories. Something clear, relatable and fun to watch. Something that fits in with the overall visual language and becomes recognizably ThoughtSpot,” said leftchannel President & Creative Director, Alberto Scirocco.

From ad campaigns to sales demos to assets for website and social; the correlating animated pieces leftchannel has conceptualized and crafted for ThoughtSpot are earning more than just oohs and ahs.
“During the last 6 months, in the heart of COVID, we've seen our lead traffic go up by 35%. That's because, in the digital world, we've been able to get attention from people with really good creative and really well run events with really good content. I would not have expected to have a partnership that exceeded my expectations like this.” – Scott Holden, CMO at ThoughtSpot
ThoughtSpot is a believer in the ability of high-end motion design to help them expand the reach of their brand. The collaboration between the two teams has helped evolve the ThoughtSpot message by making the technical entertaining and allowing them to tell stories in more effective ways.
“This works so well because ThoughtSpot trusts us to lead and advise as well as create. They have a remarkable team of people who, like us, are focused on making sure the work serves a purpose. They get how what we do aligns with their goals for communicating the brand.”– Alberto Scirocco, Founder & Creative Director at leftchannel
