Mob Scene, one of Hollywood’s leading entertainment marketing agencies for major motion picture studios, television networks, and streaming channels, has announced that its longtime President of Creative Advertising, Jeff Lamont, has left the agency. Lamont is now actively launching a new venture, Brand X Productions, as a marketing media agency to promote environmentally conscious companies and organizations.

Said Thomas Grane, CEO, Mob Scene, “As many of us reassessed our lives during the pandemic, Jeff decided that he would venture into a new career direction and concentrate his energies and efforts in the fight against the global climate crisis. He is starting a marketing agency that services companies focused on pro-environmental agendas and products. Fighting climate change is an issue close to my own heart and when Jeff came to me with this proposition, my reaction was bittersweet. While I respect his decision, I am also sad to lose a true marketing genius from our team.”

“During the last nine years, I watched in awe as Jeff and his team continuously turned-out innovative, award-winning trailers, TV spots and special marketing reels,” Grane adds. “I also relied upon his advice many times when confronted with difficult business decisions. With his departure, I am not only losing a colleague and business partner, but a true friend. I know Jeff will be a smashing success in his endeavors to help save our planet. I’d like to wish Jeff well and thank him for all of his contributions to Mob Scene since 2012.”

Adds Lamont, “I will be forever grateful for my time at Mob Scene, both for the guidance of Tom’s inspiring leadership and the supportive collaboration of the most talented team of creatives in the business. It has been my privilege and pleasure to be a part of the Mob Scene family. I will miss everyone there.”
