Manatawny Still Works Proves “Great Moments Come in Small Batches”

Craft distillery launches premium whiskey video created via YES, BRAND

    Pottstown, PA -- (SPW) --

Manatawny Still Works has launched “Great Moments Come in Small Batches,” a video featuring the Pennsylvania craft distillery’s Small Batch Whiskey and set in a NY comedy club. The video was created via YES, BRAND, produced by Tomahawk Pictures and directed by Paul Mooney. “Great Moments Come in Small Batches” contends that a moment of Zen could make the difference between having a killer set or going down in flames.

“Comedians begin life as a tiny jumble of neuroses and over time evolve into an enormous jumble,” said Hersh Rephun, Director of Consumer Entertainment at YES, BRAND and co-writer of the spot with Justo Diaz. “But the universal message is that sometimes you have to take a deep breath – and a sip of small batch whiskey – and let the moment create itself.” The branding video continues Manatawny Still Works’ love affair with standup: the distillery hosted its first-ever comedy night last March and the event was a huge success. In addition to a follow-up concert this spring, Manatawny upped the ante by commissioning YES, BRAND to create a video set in the comedy world.

"It was time for us to put out a brand video, something that truly represents our personality and commitment to handcrafted spirits," said Randy McKinley – VP Sales & Marketing, Manatawny Still Works. "Hersh and I go way back to my days in the footwear industry, so it's especially gratifying that we could do this together."

“Great Moments Come in Small Batches” serves as a springboard for the brand’s “Find Your Manatawny” campaign, encouraging fans of the brand to post images and stories of their “place you meet to drink”. As part of this consumer engagement campaign, Manatawny Still Works is sponsoring a user-generated content contest with the hashtag #FindYourManatawny.
