Currently celebrating its 30th anniversary as one of the leading independent production music libraries in the world, Megatrax has announced that in conjunction with the month of May being AAPI Heritage Month, the company has compiled a playlist of tracks from its Asian-American and Pacific Islander composers. The playlist, now available to the company’s clients, also includes some tracks inspired by the music of Asian and Pacific Island origin, as well as tracks from a number of Megatrax’s Asian composers.

The month of May was selected as AAPI Heritage Month for two reasons – to commemorate the arrival of the first known Japanese immigrant into the United States on May 7, 1843, and to honor the completion of the transcontinental railroad on May 10, 1869 – up to 20,000 Chinese workers participated in that massive project.
