Mob Scene, one of Hollywood’s leading entertainment marketing agencies for major motion picture studios, television networks, and production companies, has named Brett Abbey as its new CFO. The announcement was made today by Thomas Grane, CEO, Mob Scene.

Abbey comes to Mob Scene from entertainment marketing agency mOcean, where he was the CFO for the past five years. There, he was instrumental in setting up processes for analytics and data-driven teams in a highly creative business setting. By collaborating with mOcean’s creative teams, he was able to achieve greater efficiencies on award winning marketing campaigns by creating new metrics and KPIs.

Regarding today’s announcement, Grane said, “Brett is truly a great addition to our expanding company as we continue to evolve into new businesses. Brett has that rare duality – he has a great background in big company discipline and structure, and also gets along really well with creative thinkers and entrepreneurs. We welcome him to Mob Scene.”

Adds Abbey, “I am very excited to join the Mob Scene team and look forward to the challenges of a different POV on the entertainment industry. This new position allows me to bring my years of experience from leadership roles I’ve previously held in similar creative business settings. The entrepreneurial feel of Mob Scene and its equity investors has inspired me to take the lead on providing the financial vision and strategies necessary during this exciting evolution of the company.”
