Colorist Wayne Hampton Expands Modern's Broadcast TV Department
Modern VideoFilm powered by Point.360 participated in a 4K/HDR panel discussion sponsored by Key Code Media on the Sony lot Wednesday August 19th, 2015. Award winning colorist Bryan McMahan (Knight of Cups, The End of Tour) discussed his experiences grading with both of the industry leading solutions for HDR display technology, Dolby Vision and Samsung SUHD. Bryan recent finished the 4K remastering of the Academy Award® winning feature “Braveheart” which included an HDR version as one of its deliverables. “HDR offers a new visual palette for DPs and colorists,” said McMahan.

Modern is pleased to announce that Senior Broadcast Colorist Wayne Hampton expands the team in TV finishing. Wayne is coming to Modern after 16 years at Technicolor Hollywood where he graded shows such as “Criminal Minds”, “Big Bang Theory”, “Mom”, and “Two and a Half Men”. His other credits include, “Lost”, “Ugly Betty”, “United States of Tara”, and “Army Wives” along with many others.
