James Rayburn, charlieuniformtango President/CEO, announced Motion GFX artist Tony Wann has been named Creative Director of Motion Design. In his new role, Wann will oversee all motion design for charlieuniformtango. Wann joined charlietango in 2005 as an assistant editor, and quickly honed his expertise as a motion GFX artist.

“Tony Wann is a creative savant.  He has wowed us and our clients for years.  We are so excited to scale Tony’s impact to all our motion design projects as Creative Director,” James Rayburn said. “Motion graphics is definitely his wheelhouse; combining aesthetics and technology. Tony is an incredible collaborator, he will work tirelessly to bring an art director’s vision to life or build a client’s message from the ground up.  He brings the same energy and dedication to every project. “I’ve also seen him let out that energy as a hard-hitting drummer on his four-piece Vistalite drum kit,” Rayburn added.

The agencies he has partnered with include TRG, The Marketing Arm, GSD&M, LatinWorks, and McGarrah Jessee. He has created commercials and videos for clients such as AT&T, Universal Orlando, SunChips, LAY’S, H-E-B, DishTV, and March of Dimes.

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to expand my responsibilities at charlietango,” Tony Wann said. “I love motion design and it’s an honor to be working with the best motion design department in the business.”

“This promotion is well deserved. Tony seems to raise the bar with every project, and I’m looking forward to many more years of more exceptional work for our clients,” concluded James Rayburn.
