    LOS ANGELES -- (SPW) --

Mr Wolf, a creative studio with offices in Los Angeles, New York, Vancouver and Atlanta, is expanding its advertising division with Creative Director Ryan Tuttle and Creative Director/Head of CG Charles Paek joining its senior creative team. Tuttle and Paek are veteran artists with deep experience in visual effects for advertising and other media. Tuttle will be based out of Mr Wolf’s Atlanta studio while Paek will be based in the company’s Los Angeles headquarters.

Formerly creative director at Artifact Design, Atlanta, Tuttle will take the creative lead on advertising projects, assemble and manage teams of artists and serve as liaison with agency and brand clients. Paek will also serve as a creative lead and head the CG team across all locations. They join Matt Motal as creative directors of the studio’s advertising division, with Pravina Sippy as executive producer.

Tuttle’s tenure at Artifact spanned a dozen years and encompassed design, animation, visual effects and live action production. His credits include multiple campaigns for Ford, Bridgestone Golf, Georgia Lottery, Cartoon Network and others. He previously spent eight years at Atlanta agency JWT as a creative supervisor and broadcast designer. He began his career as a commercial and broadcast editor.

Tuttle says he has been impressed with Mr Wolf’s growth and the unique business model established by the studio’s founders Executive Producer Mike Pryor, Creative Directors Danny Yoon and Duy Nguyen, and VFX Supervisor John Pierce. “We’ve collaborated in varying capacities for ten years,” he says. “I’ve watched as they elevated their game, especially in visual effects. When the opportunity arose to join the team, I jumped. It’s a win-win.”

For the past ten years, Paek has functioned as a freelance creative director, director and VFX supervisor with advertising credits including Acura, Aston Martin, Infiniti, Target and Tanqueray. He also brings extensive experience in film, television and music videos, and was part of Mr Wolf’s creative team on AMC’s The Walking Dead. His prior background includes senior artist roles at Method Studios, CVLT, The Mill and Arsenal Film and Creative. He spent three years as a senior lighting artist at Digital Domain, where he garnered a Clio Award and a VES Award nomination.

Paek will continue to be involved in both advertising and entertainment projects. “I will fill any role that helps the company grow,” he says. “Ryan and I have similar backgrounds in advertising in terms of pitching projects and developing creative concepts. Adding our experience to Matt’s is a potent combination.”

Mr. Wolf is headquartered at 709 Campus Square W, El Segundo, CA 90245.

    • In New York, Mr. Wolf is located at 580 Broadway, 8th Floor, New York, NY 10012.

Boris FX Optics Delivers New AI Masking and Image Restoration Tools To Photoshop Workflows

    Boris FX Optics 2026

Optics, the Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom plugin and standalone application developed by the award-winning team at Boris FX, introduces four new AI-driven tools that simplify previously traditional photo editing techniques. The 2026 release allows photographers and digital artists to tackle facial segmentation, depth map generation, noise removal, and upscaling with just a few clicks. It also delivers a smoother workflow directly within Photoshop, streamlines browsing through its vast Hollywood-ready effects library, and adds glossy new effects and presets. “Optics 2026 is all about doing more with your images without slowing you down. New tools like Depth Map ML make it easy to add atmosphere, color grading, sharpening, and detail in a way that still feels natural. Face ML speeds up repetitive retouching tasks, and the Photoshop Essentials Panel brings your favorite looks, presets, and go-to tools into one place,” states Renée Robyn, Optics product manager. “With the new filters and presets, I’m genuinely excited to see how people push these tools and make them their own. We’re building the tools for photographers and digital artists that I wish I had had my entire career.” “As a portrait photographer, I never thought of myself as a digital artist until I started using Optics as part of my workflow. Now the images I see in my head come to life without spending hours lost in Photoshop, making my business more efficient,” comments Matt Stagliano, portrait photographer. “Optics 2026 gives me more control than ever with hundreds of new filter & effect variants, redesigned...
