    LOS ANGELES -- (SPW) --

Netflix has released its trailer for the four-part documentary series Marines, a powerful and deeply human exploration of the United States Marine Corps, premiering November 10, 2025, in honor of the 250th anniversary of the Marine Corps’ founding.

Union Editorial spent several months editing the episodes and supervising finishing for the four-part series. Union LA’s team was led by Supervising Editor James Haygood, with Producer Katherine LeBlond, Lead Editor Rodrigo Brazão, Assistant Editor Roman Petrov, and Post Production Coordinator Minna De Los Santos on board.

The editorial effort was bolstered by a talented group of freelancers brought on by Union: Fernanda Tornaghi (Lead Editor), Hans Ole Eicker (Additional Editor), and Andrew Doga (Additional Editor).

“Once we dug into this material we discovered truly complex and emotional characters,” Haygood recalled. “And the military brass surprised us in supporting our push to tell those character’s real and sometimes controversial stories.”

Graphics were done by Union NY: Chris Bialkowski and his team, including Lauren Hafner-Addison and Sean Vickery, created ship schematics and maps, elevating the series and keeping the audience visually informed as the show navigates a complex story with extensive terminology and global geography.

Produced by Amblin Entertainment Documentaries and Lucky8 TV, Marines offers unprecedented access to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) — the U.S. military’s “force in readiness” in the Pacific. The series follows young Marines as they undergo intense training, form unbreakable bonds, and confront the emotional complexities of life at sea in a “coming-of-age” narrative unlike any other.

Directed by Chelsea Yarnell, known for Netflix’s Cheer and America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, the four-part, 45-minute-per-episode docuseries is executive produced by Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey, Sebastian Junger, Kimberly Woodard, Greg Henry, Isaac Holub, and George Kralovansky, with Katie Goldstein and Arielle Kilker serving as co-executive producers.

Outstanding: A Comedy Revolution combines interviews, memorable stand up performances, archival materials, and verité footage.

Nominated for Best LGBTQ TV Documentary or Documentary Series at this year’s Dorian TV Awards is Outstanding: A Comedy Revolution – a feature-length documentary that counts Katherine LeBlond & James Haygood of Union Editorial as Co-Executive Producers. Earlier this year, the film, which premiered globally on Netflix, was nominated for Outstanding Documentary at the 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards. “To be recognized by GALECA - an influential and respected group of tastemakers - means even more in these turbulent times,” said LeBlond. In Outstanding: A Comedy Revolution, the legacy of LGBTQ comedians is examined, including out trans comedians such as Suzy Izzard and Roz Hernandez. The film premiered worldwide on Netflix on June 18, 2024. Written and directed by Page Hurwitz, this is the first feature length documentary to examine the history of queer stand-up comedy.
