Conference to Address the Future of Content, Technology and Trends Shaping Advertising Industry

    WASHINGTON, D.C. -- (SPW) --

Brandon Berger, chief digital officer worldwide, Ogilvy & Mather, will kick off the “Advertising Outlook: Trends in Content & Technology” workshop on Thursday, November 12, as part of NAB’s Content and Communications World (CCW). CCW will be held November 11-12 in New York City.

As chief digital officer worldwide at Ogilvy & Mather, Berger is responsible for manning the digital capabilities of the agency, building new capabilities and practice areas, and leading the agency’s digital M&As on a global scale.

During his keynote, titled “A View from 35,000 feet: How Technology is Transforming the Relationships Between Brands, Content and Advertising Across the Globe,” Berger will discuss the advent of global platforms that mobilize resources on an international scale – and how these new advances in technology enable brands and content owners to stay ahead of the curve.

Following the keynote by Berger, the half-day workshop will feature sessions from the Television Bureau of Advertising, Video Advertising Bureau and the Interactive Advertising Bureau on the latest trends in video advertising, including “Programmatic TV… Threat or Opportunity,” which will address the impact of programmatic buying on the digital industry; and “Content and Creativity in a Cross Screen World,” a session focused on how agencies and marketers are implementing new and emerging platforms.

Berger leads Digital@Ogilvy across North America, Latin America, EAME, and Asia Pacific. As one of the few global digital media executives, Berger established key global practices for mobile, ecommerce, data, user experience, technology and delivery as part of the Digital@Ogilvy banner, the largest global digital network ever built by a social agency that enables clients to leverage worldwide resources regardless of location. Prior to Ogilvy, Berger was head of digital for MDC Partners, where he elevated digital services from 10 percent to 40 percent of the agency’s revenue.

“While our industry is amidst a ‘golden age’ of programming – delivering record levels of content to audiences across the globe – there’s a concurrent revolution underway in advertising and media technologies,” said Chris Brown, NAB executive vice president, Conventions and Business Operations. “CCW is proud to host Mr. Berger as he demonstrates how the newest innovations in digital and branding techniques will be instrumental in driving the industry forward.”

NAB’s Content and Communications World, featuring SATCON, is the premier media and entertainment event on the East Coast.
