With remote work increasingly becoming the new normal, the post-production industry is undergoing tumultuous change, obliging professionals in all sectors to rethink career strategies. In the next edition of Post Break, the free webinar series from Post New York Alliance, a diverse panel of experts will discuss the importance of personal branding and social media engagement to a reimagined workforce.

In a discussion titled “Leveraging Your Career: Personal Branding and Social Media,” FindSpark CEO and Founder Emily Miethner, I/O Psychologist and ICF Certified Coach Dr. Nicole C. Scott and editor/producer Steve Hullfish will discuss how the pandemic has altered employment models forever and what individuals need to know to thrive as virtual workers. They will offer advice on how to build a distinctive personal brand and how to use social media effectively to network and pursue career advancement.

In the second portion of the event, attendees will split into breakout groups to have their personal social media accounts and websites peer-reviewed by colleagues in the manner of speed dating. It will be a great opportunity to gain insight and ideas that can be leveraged into long-term career strategies. Attendees are encouraged to use the hashtags #BrandingNYPost and #NYPostVirtualYou in promoting the event.
