The popular science-fiction novel After They Came by author Dan Harary is now available in the Audiobook format. The book was inspired by a major UFO sighting Harary had in 1970 with his late father, Jack Harary, an Electronics Engineer with the U.S. Army from 1951 – 1996. Today, Dan believes that his father was involved in a program to reverse-engineer recovered UFOs, which began with the U.S. Military back in the 1940s. The TV Rights to a three-part television Mini-Series written by Harary and based on his novel After They Came is currently being pitched to Hollywood producers and streaming television networks.
“In 1970, when I was 13, my dad and I saw an enormous, silver, ‘Flying V’ UFO, slowly and silently hovering directly over his car, as we were driving down my childhood street,” Harary says today. “While I was jumping up and down with excitement, my father nonchalantly observed the craft flying above us, without expression – he then winked at me and said, ‘Let’s go home now.’ The unbelievable sight didn’t rattle or amaze him in the least. It was only after he died in 2017 that I remembered the wink. It was then that I began to research who my father was, and what he did for a living. After They Came: Mini-Synopsis
Jonathan Tuckerman, a Los Angeles man down on his luck and truly alone in life, reaches his 70th birthday and decides to mark the occasion by drowning himself in the Pacific Ocean. Instead, he inadvertently becomes the world’s “Wonder Man” after a pair of benevolent extraterrestrial visitors from the Pleiades interdimensional star system suddenly appear in a giant spacecraft, pluck him from the sea and present him to the media and the world as their sole “Ambassador to Mankind.”
Jonathan’s life is instantly – and dramatically – transformed forever, as he works closely with the magnificent Tall White aliens, Jorthon and Kalyssa, to solve virtually each and every one of man’s long-insurmountable problems.
