To meet increased demand from clients in the entertainment industry, Los Angeles-based creative agency Artifact Studios has launched a new company called Uncle Victor. Artifact clients including Bethesda Softworks, Disney, and Daybreak Studios will now be served by Uncle Victor, and its team of directors, producers and artists will be led by Brian Kessler and Anne Edgar, who come to Uncle Victor from Artifact Studios.
Focused on serving video game publishers, movie studios, television networks, and toy brands, Uncle Victor creates commercial, digital, broadcast and experiential video content. Creative services span “concept to completion”, from scripting to production, to full editorial and finishing in-house. Content includes live-action video, motion graphics packaging, and various styles of animation.
“We started in 2001 with Sony Screen Gems as our first client, and we’ve been involved with entertainment companies ever since,” Artifact Studios’ founder David Grabias said. “With our impressive growth and continued work in the industry, it’s been a natural evolution to launch Uncle Victor. Anne and Brian’s experience working with entertainment franchises and their track record at Artifact make them a great choice to lead our new company.”
David will serve as executive producer for Uncle Victor while continuing to run Artifact Studios. He will also continue to make documentary films and serve as creative head for the studio’s subsidiary company Artifact Nonfiction, a leading provider of documentary style marketing content.
Based in Los Angeles, Artifact Studios partners with ad agencies and brands around the world to create video, digital, and experiential content that entertains, educates, and engages.
