ADG Gallery 800 Presents Little Bonfires (In Boundaried Spaces): A Mixed-Media Show
Exhibit Presents Over 30 Artists from the Art Directors Guild and Entertainment Industry, Opening April 28

Art Directors Guild's Gallery 800 (ADG, IATSE Local 800) presents LITTLE BONFIRES (in boundaried spaces), an exclusive mixed media exhibition featuring personal artwork of over 30 artists who are guild members including Production Designers, Art Directors; Scenic, Title and Graphic Artists; Illustrators and Matte Artists; Set Designers, Model Makers and Previs Artists who work in the motion picture and television industries. The public will have a unique opportunity to meet and mingle with the artists at the exhibit opening and hosted reception on Saturday,

5108 Lankershim Blvd. in the North Hollywood Arts District.
Gallery 800 is proud to present a unique exhibition showcasing these talented artists, said curator Abra Brayman. "LITTLE BONFIRES (in boundaried spaces) is a unique, mixed-media group show which is inspired by the poetic vision of the passionate, firebrand artist; working solo, but not alone. For the first time we will be showing an exciting time-based media / VR (virtual reality) installation along with over 50 pieces of fine artwork.
Gallery 800's exhibition will spotlight the artwork of two legendary Production Designers: BAFTA Nominated artist Brian Eatwell, whose credits include such legendary films as The Abominable Dr. Phibes, The Man Who Fell to Earth, The Three Musketeers, The Four Musketeers and Wired; and John V. Cartwright , Emmy® Nominated Designer who worked on An Officer and a Gentleman, The Winds of War, First Monday in October & Kiss Me Goodbye.
The featured Guest Artist will be John V. Cartwright's daughter, Angela Cartwright, a multi-talented fine artist, actress and child star best known for her roles in The Sound of Music, Lost In Space, Make Room for Daddy, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Logan's Run, among many others.
Additional Artists participating in the show are Christine Bingham, Katie Bode, Chris Brandt, Francisco Del Mar, Thomas DeVoss, Pierre Dotman, Barbara Dunphy, Bridget Duffy, James Faulkner, Thomas Frohling, Pete Graziano, Robert Kalafut, Cathie Koon, Kenneth Larson, Cesar Lemus, Krystyna Loboda, Kim Lyons, Barbara Mesney, Robin McCarthy, John Moffitt, Dan Ouellette, Stasys Pinkus, Rhea Rebbe, Roberto Rios, May Routh, Jeff Skrimstad, Catherine Walland Martin Whist.

Gallery 800, located in the heart of the Noho Arts District, showcases Guild members' personal artwork in a series of shows throughout the year. These talented artists are leading art department professionals, who, through a combination of observation, passion and imagination, bring the writer's words and the director's vision to life in television and film. When not working as integral creative members of the entertainment community, they contribute to the fine art scene with their personal artwork. Since Gallery 800 opened its doors in March 2009, more than 700 ADG members have shown their artwork in the ongoing exhibitions.
The exhibit organizers are Abra Brayman, Curator; Michael Denering, Fine Arts Committee Chair, and Jackie Thompson, Gallery 800 Staff Coordinator. Gallery 800 (located at 5108 Lankershim Blvd. at the Historic Lankershim Arts Center in the heart of North Hollywood) is open Thursday - Friday: 12 - 8pm; Saturday 2 - 8 pm; Sunday 2 - 6pm.
