The principals of specialized creative agency Leviathan are very proud to announce a key promotion and several new hires expanding their capabilities in creative technology. Effective immediately, Adam Pere rises to Director of Creative Technology, while the full-time staff additions include Senior IT Operations Manager Andrew Peplinski, Senior Creative Software Engineer Grady Sain, and Creative Software Engineer Kate Milleker.

Pere joined Leviathan last year and has proven himself a phenomenal innovator and leader. Previously a highly accomplished freelance creative technologist, Pere has served as a research and teaching assistant at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where he earned his Masters in Design Studies (Technology) in 2017. He also draws on invaluable experiences earned at Tellart working on futuristic installations for Toyota and the acclaimed de Young Museum, and at Involution Studios (now goinvo), where he led a team in designing enterprise-level software for major healthcare organizations.

"During my two years with Leviathan, I've seen our team endure through many technical and creative challenges," Pere explained. "Across our new projects ranging from executive briefing centers to theme park attractions, I'm excited to lead our amazing engineering department and continue advancing our record of immersive installations that create wonder and delight."

A longstanding team member of FCB Chicago who held the title of Associate Director of Information Technology for the past four years, Peplinski brings Leviathan deep expertise in marketing and advertising. A VMware Certified Professional skilled in cloud architecture/management, OS deployment, active directory, database management, system deployment, and software documentation, he is a proponent of virtualization, driven to find innovative creative solutions to technical problems.

Sain joins Leviathan with nearly 30 years of experience in film, video, game design, interactive, web, and special effects, with advanced expertise in projection mapping, CAD, CAM, 3D printing and CNC machining. Formerly a Technical Director for Obscura Digital, he has helped create groundbreaking digital experiences for clients including Coca-Cola, Disney, Google and Microsoft. He is also an advocate for maker culture dedicated to arts education, especially in rural communities.

Most recently a software developer for M1 Interactive, Milleker has also made a massive impact in her field prior to landing with Leviathan. At M1, she contributed to inventive interactive installations now gracing high-profile commercial and educational settings across America. Prior to that, she was an assistant media designer at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.

Milleker shared these thoughts on Leviathan's unique appeal: "The people here are so passionate about what they do," she said. "The collaborative and collective desire to create something meaningful is inspiring and contagious."
