Experts in transcending the visual medium, Spittn Image celebrated Director/Choreographer Luther Brown’s Primetime Emmy Award nomination last month in September. The production company also unveiled new promotional print and social media campaigns for long-time client FX Networks, led by Executive/Creative Producer-Founder Melissa Ciampa, along with festival advances for Creative Director/Director Shawnette Heard’s short film, “The Witching Hour.”

A renowned Choreographer, sought after by A-List music artists worldwide, Brown was nominated for a 2019 Emmy Award for his work on the "So You Think You Can Dance" routines: "Juice," "Yummy," and "Bump," each with a striking sense of artistry and storytelling. Brown has collaborated with some of the most prominent artists in the music industry today, including Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson, Diddy, Nicki Minaj, Agnez Mo, French Montana, and many more. “Being nominated for an Emmy® is a dream come true,” shares Brown. “It’s something that will forever be on my name for which I’m the happiest smurf in the village! The possibilities are endless!“ Brown directs projects via the new Spittn Image Indie division, headed by Heard. The duo has collaborated for many years together, beginning with Brown’s “The DownBeat Project,” where he hired Heard to produce his directorial efforts.

Spittn Image has also produced new print campaigns in partnership with FX Networks, a long-term client, for the much-anticipated "American Horror Story" Season 9, "Mayans" Season 2 and "Pose" Season 2.

Fresh off of her "Award of Merit" win at the Best Shorts Competition, Shawnette Heard celebrates another selection for her short film "The Witching Hour." A Spittn Image Production directed by Heard, written by Lucia Tarantino, and executive produced by Melissa Ciampa, the film is an official selection of The Awareness Film Festival in Los Angeles and explores an important, personal experience of the writer Tarantino. View the trailer for the "The Witching Hour" below or here

“I am truly honored and excited to see Spittn Image grow and expand with these special projects,” concludes Shawnette Heard. “To have our dream realized with such a talented team, and celebrate Luther Brown’s Emmy Award nomination is the icing on the cake. Excited for what’s to come with us here at Spittn Image.”
