    AUSTIN, TX -- (SPW) --

Production and Post-production studio, TBD Post and their highly curated roster of editors, digital artists, sound mixers, graphic designers, animators and producers, have recently expanded their creative reach by bringing on a new talented team of colorists. The diverse team, which consists of creatives from a variety of backgrounds, now also includes Yohance Brown, Vincent Taylor, Ariana Shining Star, Brandon Thomas, and Cullen Kelly. Each member of the team brings with them a large body of past work, a depth of creativity and technical experience, and proficiency in grading and delivering HDR for top streaming platforms. With the addition of each colorist comes a variation of offered sensibilities, and broader reach of service for the studio. In return, the opportunity to connect with an established company such as TBD Post has given the colorist team new opportunities for client-building and access to additional infrastructure and a larger support network.

“Each colorist is an artist in their own right which makes them well-versed and able to communicate the vision of the directors and photographers they work with. They excel in collaboration and helping to enhance the story they’re trying to tell,” says Ted Griffis, co-owner and post supervisor at TBD Post.

Yohance Brown, who offers a speciality of documentary and non-fiction work on top of his commercial experience, most recently worked on Netflix’s Harry & Meghan, which became the most viewed documentary on the platform. He also previously worked on Academy award®-winning Summer of Soul, a powerful piece that follows an epic event that celebrated Black history, culture and fashion. In addition, Brown boasts numerous credits in the commercial space, including work on spots for Mercedes, Nintendo, Burberry, Miller, and Ford Motors.

Australian colorist Vincent Taylor brings with him his own creative approach, having previously worked on distinct longform projects like Merfolk, Tiger King, and the Kanye West documentary Jeen-Yuhs. He also has previously worked in the commercial space for Bentley, Coca Cola, BMW, and Johnny Walker. Taylor has always been drawn to storytelling, whatever the format, medium, or length. His commitment to finding the essence of a story and uplifting it through his contributions ultimately sets him apart from others in the space.

Ariana Shining Star brings with her a unique background that has shaped her creative lens. Originally studying criminal neuroscience, Shining Star now uses her psychology background to weave character and story development into her coloring work. Her one-of-a-kind approach can be seen in the See's Candy 2022 Holiday campaign, where she worked to capture an old world Hollywood feel, a stark difference between her clean and crisp work for Audi. Based in LA, Shining Star has graded global campaigns with the world’s leading agencies including 72 & Sunny, Deutsch, Anomaly, Mother, Ogilvy, Wieden+Kennedy, TBWAChiatDay and Goodby Silverstein & Partners. Her narrative color grading includes features and television for AppleTV+, HBO, Netflix and Hulu. Arianna has also brought  a creative eye to VMA nominated music videos for Rihanna, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber, among others.

Brandon Thomas started in independent films before transitioning to feature films and commercial spots. He worked on the highly popular Netflix film Blue Miracle, crime documentary Man on the Run, as well as PBS Frontline winner of Gotham Award for Best Documentary, A Thousand Cuts. On the commercial front, among his many prior projects Thomas has collaborated with Bacardi, Yeti, Fender, and Air Force.

Los Angeles-based colorist Cullen Kelly has worked on several heavy-hitting projects. In the commercial world, he has supported clients including Sephora, McDonalds, and Microsoft. In the narrative space, he has credits ranging from Apple TV series Shape Island, to Feeling Through, which was nominated for an Academy Award® in 2021.). Alongside his impressive resume,Kelly is an educator and proven thought leader, with platforms including his podcast The Color Code as well as his YouTube channel.. He is also a published color scientist, allowing him to offer custom creative solutions to every project he tackles.

The colorists’ diverse work and creative processes are reflective of their personal experiences and the different parts of the world they come from, and have made them each masters of their craft. TBD Post is excited that clients’ every need will be met when working with the studio, with the ability to support a variety of project formats. Prioritizing accessibility for their clients, not only are the new colorists available for remote-work, they  reach from the west coast to Texas to the east coast , offering in-person or remote collaborations at their respective locations and broadening TBD Post’s creative reach. From the US to Panama, and beyond, TBD Post now has the ability to offer their services globally.

The leadership team at TBD Post have carefully curated this list of colorists, ensuring they each have the proper creative environment and equipment they need to deliver high quality work for any client. TBD Post understands that by providing their colorists with strong support and internal infrastructure, they will have the ability to take on even larger client campaigns, offering a higher quality of service, and provide a better overall experience. This will lead to a seamless experience for their clients and colorists alike.

TBD Post is MBE & Texas HUB Certified, priding itself on its diversity of talent, as well as being minority-owned. The company has recently worked on a number of commercials for US Air Force, Conn’s, and Zulily, and films The Long Game, Spy Kids and I’ll Be There. Emmy®-winning actor Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife, Hijack) has joined the acclaimed live-action short FLIGHT 182 as an executive producer. The film has been nominated for Best Short Film at Sundar Prize Film Festival, awarded Best Short Honorable Mention at International South Asian Film Festival of Canada, and will head to Oscar-qualifying festivals including the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival and the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival, after being featured at Tasveer.

Written and directed by Rippin Sindher, FLIGHT 182 centers on a pregnant wife, played by Sundeep Morrison, determined to protect her husband from boarding a flight in June of 1985, at the peak of political uprising, that could uproot their family. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the real-life tragedy.

“Rippin Sindher is one of the most electrifying new voices in film today. With FLIGHT 182, she reclaims history with empathy and cinematic precision.” Panjabi continues, “Her ability to strike at the emotional core of an audience has rightfully caught the attention of Sundance, Shondaland and Ryan Murphy TV, among others. She’s not just emerging, she’s arriving with purpose.”

Panjabi is best known for her Emmy®-winning role as Kalinda Sharma in CBS’s The Good Wife. She recently starred opposite Idris Elba in Apple TV+’s Hijack and appears in Hulu’s limited series Under the Bridge, based on the true story of Reena Virk.
