Technicolor Welcomes Back Massimo D’Avolio as Chief Operating Officer for Worldwide Post Production

Technicolor Post announced today the appointment of Massimo D’Avolio to Chief Operating Officer for Worldwide Post Production. D’Avolio, previously SVP and Divisional CFO at Method Studios, will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and oversee the implementation of the business strategy globally. He will be based in Technicolor’s Hollywood office and report to the President of Worldwide Post Production, Sherri Potter.
“In the midst of this massive industry shift, Technicolor is evolving in proactive response to and in anticipation of client and project needs – and in recognition of the new opportunities to deliver uncompromising quality by optimizing our picture, sound, and visual effects services,” said Potter. “I am excited to welcome back Massimo, a 16-year veteran of Technicolor, who has both the financial and business acumen critical to help us further develop our strategy to support these new content opportunities and empower the storyteller every step of the way.”
As an industry leader, whose recent credits include Amazon’s The Romanoffs, Hulu’s Castle Rock and Sony’s Alpha with upcoming releases to include Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns, Sony’s Welcome to Marwen, Warner Bros. The Mule, HBO’s third season of True Detective and Netflix’s Black Mirror, Technicolor is expected to set new technological, operational and artistic standards.
