A South Florida video marketing and production agency Trifecta Creative Collective has been awarded three Communicator Awards, one for excellence and two for distinction at the 25th Annual Communicator Awards ceremonies.

Trifecta won gold in branded entertainment for its individual long-form company video for client Rex Three. This new category was introduced this year to recognize the most innovative techniques used in the marketing industry.  

Branded entertainment has become a growing trend for companies who want to engage and convert through emotion as part of a larger inbound marketing strategy.

“This comes as Facebook recently announced its new system of ranking video content on news feeds,” said Emmanuel Trenche, Growth Marketing Executive and Partner at the Fort Lauderdale-based agency.  

“The social media giant will now give priority to videos with higher engagement, three minutes or longer, for sheer originality. We’re committed to helping companies take advantage of this branded entertainment trend.

“We incorporated all of these qualities in the10-minute “The People of Rex Three” video, since touring the company’s facility is a key part of the sales process.” 

The video immerses its audience into the world of American manufacturing by following several faithful and long-time employees at Rex Three, a leading print and mail company in South Florida.

Employing a reality TV technique, Trifecta showcases the quality of care that goes into each project with a video tour of the facility and personal interviews that delve into each person’s area of expertise.

Trifecta also won two awards of distinction for a video produced for their client Cruise Planners, the largest home-based travel agency in the U.S.

The video, “A Day in the Life: A Musical,” is a video with a musical twist highlighting Cruise Planners’ executives, office team members, and travel advisors.

The video breaks the typical company video of scripted sit-down interviews by introducing each department in a creative, fun, and entertaining way.

Each department has their own set of costumes, props, and song to lip-sync to, offering a new way for companies to show prospects who they are.

The agency’s second award of distinction was for “Personalized Videos for Travel Agents” in the Online Web Series category.

The videos are part of Cruise Planners’ award-winning video marketing platform, CP Video Network, designed in partnership with Cruiser Planners, to provide personalized, branded travel videos for travel advisors marketing their business.

This is the first year Trifecta competed in The Communicator Awards, having previously won a gold Travel Weekly Magellan Award and an American Advertising Award for video marketing.
