The Venice Design Series, a fundraising event benefiting Venice Community Housing, invites you to celebrate the heyday of aviation at the Howard Hughes corporate headquarters, now home to the innovative, award-winning ad agency 72andSunny. The May 20th gala, entitled “Mid-Century Flight,” serves as the finale to the 2017 Venice Design Series, a six-event series with architectural and cultural tours, luncheons, dinners and much more.

The exquisite party includes a tour of the historic building in which the “Spruce Goose” was designed, along with the original office of visionary tycoon, aviator, and Hollywood producer, Howard Hughes. Also in the mix is a unique opportunity to meet Emmy Award-winning “Hill Street Blues” actor and UCLA basketball’s National Champion team captain, Michael Warren, who will be on hand to relive vignettes from the best games in history.

Join the festivities for fabulous entertainment, dancing under the stars, Veuve Cliquot champagne, martinis and dinner in a magical setting. Sponsor packages and tickets are available at the Venice Design Series website, which features short descriptions of the tours and events as well.
