Lola Lott, CharlieUniformTango principal/CEO, announced the company–one of the first in the industry to offer comprehensive VFX and online editing–is building on its unmatched talent in VFX/CGI to offer clients even more services.

“At tango we’ve long been committed to creating the best content to help our clients communicate their brand messages. Currently, remarkable things are happening in FX, CGI, VFX, and AR. These cutting-edge technologies represent a new frontier for creative content, and we definitely want to create experiences using these next-generation capabilities. So we’re strengthening our VFX/CGI department, adding the equipment, and devoting the time to ensure we continue to lead in this space,” Lola Lott said.

David Hannah serves as VFX/CG Operations Head, with Dave Laird, Joey Waldrip, and Allen Robbins as FX Artists. Artie Peña and Connor Adams, who both have been working at tango as junior vfx/CG/3D artists for several years will continue to grow in their roles and round out the VFX/CG team and, as Artie and Connor say, “We’re constantly learning and growing.”

Artie Peña joined CharlieUniformTango in 2010 bringing a background in film and digital media including a stint in NYC with a strong interest in Flame and VFX. “I do a lot of conform and clean up work, plenty of screen replacements and green screen removals, 3d compositing, and I’m polishing my skills as a Colorist,” he says. Peña has worked on Orkin, the award winning Ted’s Pain Cream campaign, Texas Lotto, Universal Orlando Resorts (recent AICE Best of Southwest winner), and Google – Gold Videos.

Connor Adams joined CharlieUniformTango in 2015, “With a passion for editing which grew into a focus on 3D work,” he says. With a degree from UT at Austin in 3D Artist 3D/Generalist, which he earned while working at charlietango, he is right in his element at tango’s growing VFX/CG Operation. Some of Connor’s clients and projects include work for Google/YouTube, American Airlines, Universal, Dr. Pepper, Snapple, and Interstate Batteries, which recently won several ADDY Awards. We know the film industry has been in and out of love with special effects. But, we’re committed to leading in content development, and to exploring and finding the most innovative, strategic, and interdisciplinary technologies out there. But most importantly, as always at CharlieUniformTango, we want to offer the best, most talented people to translate that technology into impactful content for our clients.”
