    "Sword" Features Dubstep Artist PROPELLANT

    HOLLYWOOD -- (SPW) --

LA-based music company <a href="http://www.visualmusicartists.com.“>Visual Music has scored a high-profile film short sponsored by Canon, which demonstrates it’s new Cinema EOS C300 series cameras.

“Sword” was directed by Felix Alcalá and Larry Carroll for executive producers Patti and Dave Coulter’s Passport Films. <a href="http://www.visualmusicartists.com.“>Visual Music‘s creative director <a href="http://www.visualmusicartists.com.bio.html”>Tom Seufert coordinated and produced the music with Emmy Award-winning composer Dean Grinsfelder, Devon Seufert and his Dubstep project <a href="http://www.visualmusicartists.com.indexpropellant.html”>Propellant. “Sword” is one of four films that screened at Paramount Studios in November.

“Sword” is set in a future where guns have been outlawed and human rights have been trampled upon by an authoritative militia. Dean Grinsfelder handled the orchestral duties, incorporating his own electronica and overdubs from Devon, who also contributed two underscore cues. The score contains a remixed version of <a href="http://www.visualmusicartists.com.indexpropellant.html”>Propellant‘s song “Lost,” which is also featured in the closing credits. Devon composed and produced “Lost,” with lyrics and vocal performances by Morgan Lyon and D’Cipher (C. McDaniel).

Other recently completed <a href="http://www.visualmusicartists.com.“>Visual Music projects include Kohler, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Dollar General, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Chrysler SRT, The Atlanta Lottery and P&G (Tide).

    Boris FX Mocha Pro 2025.5

Mocha Pro from Boris FX builds upon the famed planar tracking and masking plugin with new tools that simplify often tedious, time-consuming visual effects tasks. The 2025.5 release delivers effortless AI-driven face detection, new matte refinement within its AI masking, the ability to solve shots without camera movement, and an easily customizable export experience. “We carefully develop each Mocha Pro release to meet the real needs of artists. The 2025.5 release offers users even more ways to get the job done,” states Boris Yamnitsky, president and founder of Boris FX. “Our AI tools aid visual effects workflows by automating some of the more labor-intensive elements, such as masking and tracking faces (new in 2025.5), selecting objects, or generating animated mattes. By leveraging AI to tackle specific tasks, artists are free to focus their efforts on delivering stunning visible (and invisible) VFX that immerse audiences in any given project’s world.” “In addition to the new AI tools, our 2025.5 release includes major enhancements to Mocha Pro’s 3D tracking capability, allowing artists to solve a wider range of shots, and introduces ACES 2.0 for better compatibility with the latest colour management pipelines,” notes John-Paul Smith, CEO, Imagineer Systems. “We’ve also made many quality of life improvements based on user feedback, making common tasks like tracking and exports quicker and easier than ever.” New AI Tool Mocha Pro includes three AI masking tools with the addition of Face Detection, which joins Object Brush ML and Matte Assist ML.
