Whitehouse Post London Welcomes Editor Adam Rudd

    Adam Rudd
    LONDON -- (SPW) --

Editorial company Whitehouse Post has bolstered their roster with the addition of award-winning editor Adam Rudd.  With over 15 years of editorial experience, Rudd joins Whitehouse London after spending the past decade honing his craft in London and Los Angeles at Final Cut.  “I'm very happy, and honoured, to be joining the roster,” says Rudd.  “The quality of work coming out of Whitehouse in both the UK and US speaks for itself.  My impression of Whitehouse, even from when I first started out, was that it was a place that held the craft of editing to its highest standards, and it's retained that level of excellence throughout its history.”

Known for his versatile skills and energetic editing, Rudd has lent his creative talents to notable commercial projects including the AICE and AICP-winning “Training Tracks” for Gilette with director Michel Gondry, Sainsbury’s “Food Dancing” directed by Siri Bunford for Wieden+Kennedy, and the technically challenging “Last Can Standing” directed by Daniel Kleinman for Pepsi Max featuring Messi and Mo Salah for AMV/BBDO.   “It was amazing to work with Messi and Mo Salah,” says Rudd.  “Due to the player’s schedules, we filmed the spot in Cape Town with doubles, then went to Barcelona to film Messi and Manchester to film Mo Salah. Very complex as it had to look like the 2 players were interacting in a game of football. I cut on set as we went along, doing rough comps so eyelines and action could be checked. There was also very limited time with each player, so no margin for error.  It was very intense and I loved every minute of it.”  Rudd’s work has been honored at many prestigious award shows including D&AD, Cannes, and The Clios, and his client list includes top brands like Apple Music, Coca Cola, The BBC, Gucci, and Chevrolet.

With experience working on sets across the globe and collaborating with visionary directors including David LaChapelle, Marc Forster, Frank Miller, and Brett Foraker, Rudd looks forward to growing his career at Whitehouse in both the US and UK markets. “I love what I do, I can't imagine doing anything else, and every day I get to do it is a happy one. I never imagined an editor would get to travel when I started out, but I'm very lucky to have been to some incredible places, and in some crazy situations, thanks to the craft.  I hope this continues at Whitehouse, I'm happy working in both the UK and USA and having lived in both for long periods of time, I think that gives me a good overview of the differences and similarities between the two markets.”

According to Whitehouse Post Partner/ Editor John Smith ACE, Rudd will be a major asset to the company. “We’re very happy that Adam has decided to join us,” says Smith. “We’ve followed his career for a long time, and not only is he a major talent, but he’s a lovely fellah too.  We think he will fit in perfectly and can’t wait to see what the future holds for him.”
