Women In Media (WiM) announces its honorees for the 2025 Holiday Toast. The annual celebration recognizes legendary creatives whose work uplifts and inspires the industry. The festivities will take place at the elegant Hotel Sofitel in Beverly Hills, California, on December 6, 2025. WiM’s 2025 Holiday Toast Honorees include Mandy Walker, ASC, AM, ACS, Ashley Nicole Black, and Krystina Figg.
Director of Photography and President of the American Society of Cinematographers, Mandy Walker, ASC, AM, ACS is known for her stunning work on Elvis, Hidden Figures, and Disney’s live-action Mulan. A trailblazer behind the camera, Walker continues to set new standards for excellence in visual storytelling. Lauded for her brilliant work on Shrinking, Ted Lasso, and A Black Lady Sketch Show, writer/actor Ashley Nicole Black’s sharp wit and fearless storytelling paint a fresh alternative POV in both comedy writing and performance. Hollywood grip and best boy Krystina Figg paves the way behind the scenes with her work on blockbuster films including Superman, Killers of the Flower Moon, and Dunkirk. Guest Toastmasters Chelsea Devanetz, Nikki Caro, and Scott Howell will raise a glass to each honoree.
For this year’s panel, WIM founder Tema Staig will moderate an up close and personal chat with the honorees discussing firsthand experiences and the changing landscape in the motion picture and entertainment community.
Known for its sparkling atmosphere and spirit of camaraderie, the Women In Media Holiday Toast brings together filmmakers, executives, and craftspeople from every corner of the industry to salute progress, creativity, and community.
