    Winners Announced For The 73rd Annual ACE Eddie Awards Recognizing The Best Editing of the Year in Film, Television and Documentaries

    Since 1951, American Cinema Editors has celebrated the best in television and feature film editing at the annual ACE Eddie Awards gala. More than a thousand of the entertainment industry’s most accomplished editors, filmmakers and Hollywood elite attend the black-tie event held each year. A prelude to the Oscars, the Eddies are considered a barometer for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Best Picture and Best Editing categories. The ACE Eddies is one of the longest-running awards shows in the entertainment industry.

    LOS ANGELES -- (SPW) --

    The 73rd Annual ACE Eddie Awards presented by American Cinema Editors (ACE) today announced winners LIVE at UCLA’s Royce Hall recognizing outstanding editing in 14 categories of film, television and documentaries. In addition to the announcement of winners in competitive categories, Gina Prince-Bythewood accepted the prestigious ACE Golden Eddie Award – recognizing an artist or company for distinguished achievement in film.  Film editors Lynne Willingham, ACE and Don Zimmerman, ACE received Career Achievement Awards for their outstanding contributions to film editing.  The event was hosted by Ashley Nicole Black and presided over by ACE President Kevin Tent, ACE.

    About American Cinema Editors

    American Cinema Editors (ACE) is an honorary society of motion picture editors founded in 1950.  Film editors are voted into membership on the basis of their professional achievements, their dedication to the education of others and their commitment to the craft of editing.

    The objectives and purposes of the AMERICAN CINEMA EDITORS are to advance the art and science of the editing profession; to increase the entertainment value of motion pictures by attaining artistic preeminence and scientific achievement in the creative art of editing; to bring into close alliance those editors who desire to advance the prestige and dignity of the editing profession.

    ACE produces several annual events including EditFest (an international editing festival), Invisible Art/Visible Artists (the annual panel of Oscar® nominated editors), and the ACE Eddie Awards, now in its 73rd year, recognizing outstanding editing in 14 categories of film, television and documentaries. The organization publishes a quarterly magazine, CinemaEditor, highlighting the art, craft and business of editing and editors.

    New York Festivals Advertising Awards (NYFA) announced the winners of the inaugural NYFAi competition. Launched in partnership with Lightricks’ LTX Studio, a powerful generative AI platform, NYFAi is a global competition designed to push the boundaries of storytelling through the power of artificial intelligence. The future of advertising came to life in real time as seven innovative agencies competed, and three elite agency teams advanced to the winner’s circle creating campaigns that showcased the powerful collaboration between human creativity and AI technology. “NYFAi is more than a competition, it’s a window into the evolving landscape of creativity.
