Go BTS of the making of “Top Gun: Maverick”

After more than thirty years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him. When he finds himself training a detachment of Top Gun graduates for a specialized mission the likes of which no living pilot has ever seen, Maverick encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), call sign: “Rooster,” the son of Maverick’s late friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka “Goose”.

Facing an uncertain future and confronting the ghosts of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his own deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who will be chosen to fly it.

Toyota Gears Up for Car Season with Campaign Directed By Open Swim’s Marc André Debryune

    Wednesday, March 12, 2025

Director Marc André Debruyne and Toyota teamed up to unveil “Olympic Drive.” The campaign features two spots showcasing Canadian Paralympic Sprinter Marissa Papaconstantinou and 2024 Summer Olympic Gold Medalist in Breaking, Phil Wizard.

“We’re appoaching Fall model launches, so we wanted to celebrate our favorite, recent auto brand work,” says Open Swim Executive Producer Amyliz Pera. “We’re extremely grateful that Marc André was given an opportunity to create this work with Toyota in Canada.”

“I came in with a deep love for hip-hop and breaking, and I knew Phil would rise to the challenge,” shares Debruyne. “Marissa is also an incredible athlete with a presence that made directing her a joy. They both had non-stop energy on set. I was hesitant to push too hard to avoid injury, but fast-tracking an Olympic sprinter with a camera is something I won’t second-guess again. As a director, I live and breathe my craft, so it’s amazing to be able to capture that same passion in others.”
