Bicoastal production company Greenpoint Pictures has added the directing team Mister to its roster of talent for commercials and branded content. This marks the first U.S. production house signing for Mister–which is comprised of filmmakers Miche Sieg and Rose Chirillo. Sieg and Chirillo’s former careers as agency creatives saw them develop award-winning work for assorted brands and eventually led to the birth of Mister. On the agency side, they most recently worked at Mojo Supermarket NY as creative directors.
Mister has directed spots for brands like Squarespace, Truth Initiative, Bush’s Beans, Kum and Go, and Nike Air Max’s films featuring female athletes Chloe Kim and Mal Pugh. In addition to their brand work as film directors, Mister has served as the creative directors for celebrity-fronted spots for Spindrift’s campaign starring Kristen Bell and Netflix’s collaboration with Squarespace, starring tennis legend turned voice actor John McEnroe.
The directing team’s parody ads for Cock Block, a cutting board in the shape of its namesake, and A Pair of Plants, pants for plants, exemplify their sharp sense of humor. Always ones to commit to the bit, the duo invented and have been selling both products, with Pair of Plants possessing 80K followers on Instagram. Additionally, Mister helmed two cinematically resplendent music videos for the Australian songwriter Kito’s songs “Alone With You” and “Wild Girl,” featuring Empress Of.
In a joint statement, Mister said on joining Greenpoint Pictures, “We couldn’t be more stoked to have found a directorial home that not only appreciates our crazy, but also wants to help us turn it up to eleven. From the beginning, it was clear that we met our match, and we can’t wait for our future together. And hey, if they’re cool with talking cows and head-spinning dolls, it can only go nuts from here!”
“We’re so excited to begin our partnership with Mister,” said Michael Kuhn, Greenpoint founding partner and director. “Rose and Miche are making work like nobody else. They combine surreal comedy with sharp timing and wit, resulting in a filmic voice that is smart, completely unique, and hilarious. We’ve always championed directors doing something a little bit different from the norm here at Greenpoint and are honored that they’ve chosen us to work with!”

We launched Converged to transform our client experience by building even more strategic bridges between creativity, media, production, and technology, and a shared understanding of today’s consumers is essential to this vision and to unlocking more meaningful growth for our clients and their brands,” said Yannick Bolloré, chairman and CEO, Havas. Commissioned with YouGov, “The Rise of the Change Makers” surveyed more than 156,500 respondents, finding that while 70% of people feel the world is going in the wrong direction globally, 69% won’t let the tough times keep them down. Across 24 markets and more than 2,600 brands, 67% of respondents reported being happy today and 59% feeling optimistic about the future. In 2022, The Collins Dictionary named ‘polycrisis’ its word of the year, but, as 2024 comes to a conclusion, ‘permacrisis’ is a more apt descriptor for a landscape where climate change escalates, the cost of living continues to soar, political differences are dramatized amidst the biggest democratic election year in history, and conflict, violence and humanitarian crises affect millions around...
