PSYOP Signs Studio Showoff For U.S. Representation

Sean Zwan (l) and Ivan Dixon of Studio Showoff
NEW YORK & LOS ANGELES --

PSYOP has signed Studio Showoff for U.S. representation, bringing the Melbourne-based animation shop’s irreverent sense of humor and standout character design into its global collective.

Founded by directors Ivan Dixon and Sean Zwan, Studio Showoff has been delighting (and occasionally melting) minds with animation that is as visually inventive as it is laugh-out-loud funny. From original series and festival-favorite shorts to music videos and brand work, the studio channels a rare blend of razor-sharp humor and conceptual chaos. The studio’s comedic sensibility and cultural fluency have earned them high-profile collaborations, including work with Saturday Night Live where they animated comedy sketches featuring the likes of Jack Black and Timothée Chalamet.

Studio Showoff’s ability to handle the entire animation pipeline–writing through post–allows it to shape timing, performance, and humor at every step. This has led to a portfolio which spans iconic music videos for Childish Gambino and Elton John; ad campaigns for HBO, Disney, Hulu, and Adult Swim; and distinctive contributions to major pop-culture titles including The Simpsons, Rick & Morty, Adventure Time, and AAA game franchises like Fallout and Wolfenstein.

“Studio Showoff’s comedic storytelling chops are second to none,” said Andrew Linsk, PSYOP EP, head of global partnerships. “The guys are also true animation nerds in the best sense, and can work across many different styles including anime, rubberhose, 8-bit, and more. We’ve been fans for years and are very excited to welcome them to the PSYOP constellation of talent.”

Recent achievements include Dixon’s acclaimed short Plumpin, which screened at Pictoplasma and Animafest and won Best Australian Film at the 2025 Melbourne International Animation Festival; and American Sikh, led by Zwan, which screened at Tribeca and earned the 2025 Webby Award for Best Animation, among others. “Comedy is our compass,” said shared Dixon and Zwan in a joint statement. “We love making work that feels alive–carried out by visuals that are as wild as the ideas behind them. Joining PSYOP gives us the perfect playground to keep pushing with that goal in mind alongside partners who want to laugh, experiment, and try ridiculous things at the highest creative level.”

This pairing further strengthens PSYOP’s ability to deliver animated comedy. This marks the first U.S. representation for Studio Showoff.

Riff Raff Adds Beth Sacca To Its Nursery of Evil Roster For Global Representation

    Wednesday, May 13, 2026

Photographer and director Beth Sacca has joined production house Riff Raff’s Nursery of Evil for global representation. Nursery of Evil is Riff Raff’s specialized curated roster for emerging directorial talent.

The New York-based Sacca creates imagery that elevates the ordinary through composition, timing, and visual storytelling that feels both natural and subtly heightened. Intentionally focusing on subtle gestures and ordinary settings, Sacca’s images convey deeper emotional or humorous truths about human nature. She began her career as a photo editor at Cosmopolitan before joining New York Magazine after shooting its award-winning cover, The Pleasures of Outdoor Dining.

Her work has received significant recognition, including Cover of the Year at the American Society of Magazine Editors Awards and a Gold Cube from the Art Directors Club. In 2025, her short film Heat Wave received Silver in the “In the Making” category at The 1.4 Awards. Her clients include leading publications such as The New Yorker, GQ, Bloomberg Businessweek, and Vogue Italia.

Sacca’s visual language is exemplified in "After Hours," a stunning photographic and motion series that explores themes of isolation, routine, and emotional detachment all layered with her signature humorous undertone. Sacca is currently expanding her creative practice into film, continuing to build a distinctive voice across both still and moving images.

Upon joining Riff Raff Films, Beth said “I’m incredibly grateful to be joining Riff Raff at this point in my career. As an emerging director, it means a great deal to be surrounded by a team that genuinely supports nurturing talent and bold ideas. Becoming part of the Nursery of Evil is... Read More
