Saatchi & Saatchi is moving its New Creators’ Showcase to SXSW London this year, thus ending a longstanding partnership with Cannes Lions. The showcase has been curated and presented annually at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in Cannes, France, since 1991.
Entries open today for the New Creators’ Showcase 2026. The showcase provides up-and-coming creators from across the globe with a platform to be seen, discovered and hired by decision makers in the advertising industry. Previous winners include filmmakers such as Jonathan Glazer and The Daniels.
Curated by Franki Goodwin, chief creative officer at Saatchi & Saatchi, and Jess Ringshall, Saatchi’s chief production officer, the 2026 showcase will be built around a renewed commitment to “put the C in NCS,” and welcomes work from all moving image formats to be submitted. As part of Saatchi’s new partnership with SXSW London, each shortlisted creator will be given the opportunity to present their work on stage at the Shoreditch event on June 4.
Saatchi & Saatchi will also continue its commitment to collaborate with as many of the creators featured in the showcase as possible within its network portfolio, as well as offering hands-on assistance from production teams through expert guidance and insight.
Also new for 2026 will be a dedicated music showcase, also curated by Saatchi & Saatchi, which will feature live performances from emerging music talent looking to work on commercial projects within the creative industries.
Goodwin said, “New Creators’ Showcase has been the highlight of my Cannes for much longer than I’ve had the privilege to curate it. We are eternally grateful to them for supporting the showcase on such an important global stage for the past three and a half decades. As the custodians of this legendary piece of industry IP we have a responsibility to evolve it and with a new home at SXSW London, we’re excited to expand the access and the format to build a future facing industry entry point for emerging talent where film, music and innovation converge.”
Katy Arnander, chief programming officer at SXSW London, said, “SXSW London is all about creating a space where creative minds can come together to test ideas, challenge them and take them forward. At its core is the convergence of technology, film, music and culture, bringing together the creative, advertising and marketing communities in one place. The New Creators’ Showcase is a key part of that. We share a clear ambition to support the next generation of creative talent, making this partnership with Saatchi & Saatchi such a natural fit. We’re looking forward to working together to shape the next chapter of the Showcase, allowing us to back new talent with real intent, and connect them with the people, ideas and opportunities that can shape what comes next.”
