Brooklyn-based production company Greenpoint Pictures has partnered with Champion for East Coast representation. Founded in 2021 by Julie Margilaj Knips, J. Patrick McElroy, and Joanna Margilaj, the New York-based Champion curates brand collaborations for its roster of clients. Its founding trio has experience in sales, management, production, and more. The Champion roster includes Church, division7, DROOL, Florence, Institute, Squeak E. Clean Studios, Trevor, and now, Greenpoint Pictures. An all-in-one production house, Greenpoint is home to filmmakers who work across all genres and tones. Greenpoint’s recent brand collaborations include ESPN, Nissan, GoDaddy, Kawasaki, Callaway, and a dual campaign for the NBA and Marty Supreme. Additional projects include the acclaimed short films “Ovejas y Lobos,” “Childhood Homesick,” and “¡Pika!” which was edited by Ben Schwaeber, Greenpoint’s recent Young Guns 23 winner, and premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival….
Creative and production studio Stept has signed with Jared Shapiro at Moustache for commercial representation on the East Coast. Stept continues to be repped by Diplomat on the West Coast and Doug Stephens in the Midwest. Over the past year, Stept has added directors including Warner Shaw, Truesdell Brothers, and Toby Morris who bring distinct creative perspectives and new production methodologies that blend performance, technology, AI workflows, VFX, and elevated cinematic craft.
