Park Pictures is now representing director Fredrik Bond for commercial filmmaking in the U.S. market. His work has been recognized across assorted high-profile competitions with awards ranging from Cannes Lions to Clios and British Arrows–and a remarkable nine DGA Award nominations for Best Commercial Director. Prior to joining Park Pictures, Bond had a lengthy tenure at MJZ for U.S. commercial representation.
From beautiful images to effortlessly charming protagonists, his films cleverly distill a brand’s identity with entertaining spots. His lauded work for Apple, Guinness, Adidas, Levi’s, and other major brands has defined what premium commercial filmmaking is for the past two decades.
Bond tackles comedy with the same cinematic precision and emotional resonance felt in his more serious pieces. His instinct to ground every story in reality ensures that every bit of whimsy feels true to life, no matter how fantastical or outlandish the comedy may be. This knack for directing comedy that captivates audiences with vivid scene work is evident in his collaborations with Citroën, Volkswagen, H&M, LG, Philips, Schweppes, Heineken, Coca-Cola, MoneySuperMarket, and Dove.
Bond remarked, “What I loved about Park Pictures was how tightly the company’s culture aligned with my own evolution as a director and human being–a place driven by passionate relationships, infectious creative energy, and a relentless push toward absolute excellence. In a time where technology can create distance between people, I was deeply drawn to Park’s tactile, face-to-face spirit and the genuine excitement and human connection that feels embedded in the company’s DNA.”
“Fredrik is such a welcome addition to Park because he brings an incredible energy to his work–a force field of enthusiasm, joyfulness, cinematic sophistication, and emotional instinct that feels truly special,” said Park Pictures co-founder Jackie Kelman Bisbee. “From the moment we started talking, there was an immediate sense of creative alignment around the kind of culture, collaboration, and storytelling we love to foster, and his contagious humor and passion for pushing the work make this partnership feel genuinely new and exciting.”
Park Pictures co-founder Lance Acord added, “I’ve known and been friends with Freddy for years. In addition to his unique talents as a director, he’s also just a really great person. Speaking on behalf of myself and everyone else at Park, we’re all looking forward to collaborating with, furthering our friendships, and making great work together.”
