JOJX has brought director Anton Tammi aboard its U.S. commercial roster.
Tammi brings a multifaceted approach to storytelling across music, fashion, luxury, automotive and technology. Blending live action, CGI and VFX to create visually cinematic worlds, Tammi’s commercial portfolio includes work for Gucci x GQ, Apple, Yves Saint Laurent, Ford, Mercedes-Benz and Rimowa. Prior to joining JOJX, Tammi had been repped in the U.S. for commercials by Cadence Films.
Tammi has also directed culturally defining music videos for The Weeknd, including “Blinding Lights.” The filmmaker has additionally collaborated with global talents like Zoë Kravitz, Roger Federer, Grimes and Yung Lean.
Tammi is enthused about joining JOJX, noting that from his first conversations with company executive producers/partners Jackson Morton, Joe Care and Sevasti Buford, “it was clear that they understand craft and collaboration. Their director-first approach and their belief in my vision and my postproduction skills make this feel like the perfect next step. I’m looking forward to building a strong U.S. commercial presence while continuing to push the boundaries of visual storytelling forward. I’m really impressed by JOJX’s commitment to developing my ideas and understanding my workflow. I’m excited to have the time and space, under their guidance, to keep evolving my style.”
In addition to directing, Tammi runs his boutique postproduction company, Ant Post, frequently co-editing his own work and leading VFX teams for other projects such as Oscar Hudson’s recent debut feature. This end-to-end creative involvement means that Tammi can carry projects from concept through final execution with technical expertise and consistent vision.
“We’ve admired Anton Tammi’s work for years,” said Morton. “From our first conversation, it was clear that our aesthetics–and more importantly, our values–were aligned. Anton’s cinematic precision, bold visual imagination, and cultural fluency have shaped a signature language that’s unmistakably his. That level of authorship is rare, and it’s exactly what drew us in. We’re honored to support the next chapter of his journey.”
Tammi’s work has earned international recognition, including winning Video of the Year and Best R&B Video at the MTV VMAs, Best Director at the UKMVAs and numerous nominations at the British Arrows and Camerimage Festival.
