    NEW YORK --

SuperBloom, an independent content and production company founded by industry veterans Briony McCarthy and Tom Dunlap, has appointed Kristin Childers as head of content production and released its first-ever branded content slate featuring multiple premium projects. As a one-stop-shop solution, SuperBloom provides not just production but also development, talent attachment, and distribution for projects.

Childers joins SuperBloom’s leadership team and will work alongside Adam Milano, head of branded entertainment at SuperBloom, to produce the new slate of branded content, which includes: Danny Pellegrino (host/producer of the podcast, Everything Iconic) hosting a digital video series; a travel mystery non-scripted series in partnership with a cruise line titled Mystery on the Sea; an exploration of female ingenuity through the History of Dolls stop motion video series; investHER, a new competition format for female creators and entrepreneurs designed to propel their small businesses. Purveyors of Pop, the reality TV production company behind Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise, will collaborate with SuperBloom on these projects with more to be announced soon.

Emerging from SuperBloom’s branded entertainment division which was announced in March 2023, this fresh suite of premium entertainment unites the buzziest elements of pop culture, online discourse, and super fandoms to drive audience engagement. The strategic alliance with Pop empowers SuperBloom to capture the heartbeat of culture, providing brands an authenticity and unique viewpoint.

SuperBloom’s all-in-one approach is enhanced with access to over 100+ entertainment experts including showrunners, reality TV stars, celebrities, story producers, film directors, executive producers, television, and comedy writers. Access to this growing network of emerging and established Hollywood creative talent, brings brands in lock step with culture.

Childers will spearhead SuperBloom’s All Media Productions across all divisions. Prior to joining SuperBloom, she held roles across multiple production houses, including Party Land and Just Fix It Productions, and at brands including Tumblr and Royal Caribbean. Her experience in developing television series, documentaries, digital shorts, and immersive theater, and bringing together creators for next-level content collaborations, will be instrumental in achieving SuperBloom’s mission of reimagining production solutions for brands.

“We know that cultural fluency and speed to market make or break a campaign. SuperBloom creates branded entertainment fueled by social fandoms and stacked with social currency and with the introduction of Kristin as our head of content production, we can produce more content made for the culture of now. Brands must actively ride, not just react to the waves of culture, and Kristin and Adam’s experience combined with our access  to creative and celebrity talent, gives brands the boost they need to get ahead,” said McCarthy, SuperBloom co-founder and CEO.

Childers said, ”What attracted me to SuperBloom was the fact that SuperBloom gets that it’s more than just making content for brands, we have to create cultural experiences. My role pulls in my past experiences working across many modes of production and wearing the hats of both producer and brand, and I’m thrilled to go all in on SuperBloom’s fresh approach.”

SuperBloom’s branded entertainment division is led by Milano, came aboard the company in summer of 2022 as head of content development. His 15-plus years of industry experience spans music, film, television and digital with roots in scripted and non-scripted development and production. Milano partnered with Simon Cowell to launch the U.S. division of Cowell’s global media company, SYCO Entertainment, a joint venture with Sony Music. Milano previously held top posts at Sony Pictures, where he was VP of production, and Live Nation Entertainment, and has produced hit documentaries on One Direction and Imagine Dragons.

SuperBloom, backed by Mother Ventures, has produced branded entertainment and quick turn cultural campaigns for brands such as Marriott Bonvoy, Activision, YouTube, Honest Co, Spotify, J&J, Voodoo Rangers IPA and Panera.
