Squeak E. Clean has appointed Brad Marrapodi as head of sync catalog|sr. music producer, based out of SQLA, the company’s Los Angeles studio.
In this newly created role, Marrapodi will lead Squeak E. Clean’s sync-focused catalog strategy, overseeing the creation, development, and delivery of long-form albums and production music designed for branded content, film, television, trailers, and emerging creator platforms. Alongside this mandate, he will continue to produce high-value custom music projects for Squeak E. Clean’s West Coast brand and agency partners.
Marrapodi brings deep experience at the intersection of catalog creation, A&R, and sync, with more than a decade spent producing award-winning music for global brands, entertainment studios, and production music libraries. His work spans album-level catalog development, bespoke scoring, and hands-on production–grounded in a strong creative point of view and a deep understanding of how music lives in culture–positioning him uniquely to bridge custom creative expression with scalable, long-term music assets.
“Brad’s appointment reflects our continued investment in high-quality, human-made music as both craft and asset,” said Michael Gross, managing partner at Squeak E. Clean. “Brad is a true creative unicorn–his polymath skill set, combined with deep experience and long-standing industry relationships, allows us to better serve our clients’ evolving audio needs while building lasting value through music.”
Rob Barbato, executive creative director and partner at Squeak E. Clean, noted, “I’m really excited to get to work with Brad. Our studio in Los Angeles is primed to make the highest quality records, scores, and stand-alone tracks; Brad is just the person to help expand upon the awesome work that’s coming out of our L.A. headquarters.”
Marrapodi added, “Squeak E. Clean has always been about putting music into culture. I’m excited to help shape a catalog that’s creatively ambitious and built for the way brands and studios actually license music today–while continuing to make great custom work with the team.”
Squeak E. Clean maintains studios in Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago, Melbourne, and New York.
