    LONDON --

M+C Saatchi Consulting has appointed Barry Cronin as global chief delivery officer, a newly created role designed to strengthen how the firm delivers complex client work at scale.

His appointment comes at a pivotal moment for M+C Saatchi as the Group builds on its model for delivering Cultural Power, bringing together strategy, experience and performance to help clients translate cultural relevance into commercial growth.

As organizations increasingly seek partners who can move seamlessly from strategic insight through to execution and performance, the creation of this role reinforces M+C Saatchi’s ambition to deliver integrated work with greater clarity, pace and accountability.

“Barry joins us at an important moment in the evolution of our business,” said Karen Boswell, global CEO, Consulting, Experience & Performance. “Consulting plays a critical role in helping clients navigate transformation, but true impact comes when strategy, creativity and performance come together in execution. Barry’s experience further strengthens our ability to deliver that integration at scale, ensuring we convert Cultural Power into measurable growth for our clients.”

“What drew me to M+C Saatchi is the opportunity to connect strategic thinking, creativity and performance in a way that delivers real impact for clients,” said Cronin. “The combination of Consulting, Experience and Performance creates a powerful platform for transformation. My focus will be ensuring we have the delivery discipline, structures and standards that allow our teams to move from ambition to execution at pace.”

In his new role, Cronin is leading global delivery across the Consulting, Experience and Performance practices, serving as the senior client-facing delivery partner for complex transformation programs. Working closely with Consulting leadership, he will focus on translating strategic ambition into operational reality–embedding consistent global delivery standards, strengthening collaboration across disciplines, and ensuring work delivers measurable commercial outcomes for clients.

Cronin joins from Huge, where he served as SVP of program delivery, leading complex global engagements for some of the world’s most recognized brands. Prior to Huge, he spent four years at R/GA, where he helped build and scale integrated delivery organizations rooted in brand strategy and experience design.

Over the course of his career, he has advised organizations including Ticketmaster, Stellantis, JPMorgan Chase, Tommy Hilfiger and O2 Telefónica, guiding enterprise-wide change, redesigning customer platforms and scaling digital operations to drive adoption and growth.

Woman pleads not guilty to trying to murder Rihanna and to assaulting the singing superstar’s family

A woman from Florida pleaded not guilty Wednesday to the attempted murder of Rihanna.

Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, of Orlando, also pleaded not guilty through her attorney to more than a dozen other felony counts in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Prosecutors allege the singing superstar, her hip-hop star partner A$AP Rocky and their three young children were among the people assaulted at their home in the Beverly Hills area on March 8 when Ortiz, 35, pulled up to the property and sprayed about 20 bullets from an AR-15 style rifle into the tall exterior wall.

Ortiz is charged with 10 counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and three counts of shooting at an occupied vehicle or dwelling. She could get life in prison if convicted on all charges.

Her lawyer, Deputy Public Defender Derek Ray Dillman, entered the plea on her behalf as Ortiz appeared behind glass in a custody area, wearing yellow jail clothes with her blond hair in braids. She spoke only to agree to waive her right to a speedy preliminary hearing, the next phase of the case where evidence is presented to determine whether a trial is warranted.

Her lawyer asked that her bail be reduced from $1.9 million to $70,000 based on her ability to pay. Judge Theresa McGonigle declined the request and kept the bail the same.

The prosecutor, arguing against the reduction, said she's a major risk to the community and would likely flee.

"This case involves a dangerous, deliberate shooting into occupied homes," Deputy District Attorney Alexander Bott said. "This is the kind of conduct that could easily have resulted in multiple homicides."

When Ortiz was arrested hours after the shooting, she was alone in her car with the rifle, more rounds and a wig she intended to... Read More
