Topping this year’s CICLOPE Latino Awards were three Grand Prix winners honored last night (4/23) in São Paulo.
The Production Grand Prix went to “KYIKATÊJÊ” directed by Luiz Whately for GAVIÃO KYIKATÊJÊ F.C. through AREA 23, an IPG Health Network Company, produced by Balma Films.
Taking the Postproduction Grand Prix honor was “A ti, ¿quién te espera?” directed by YUCA for Cerveza Victoria through Wieden+Kennedy Mexico, produced by THE YOUTH.
And earning the Ideas Grand Prix was “The Ugliest Sweater” directed by Damiana Acuña &. Jorge G. Camarena for ILAS – Infancia Libre de Abuso Sexual through Made Agency & Rainbow Lobster, produced by The Maestros.
In the largest CICLOPE Latino edition to date, this year’s award winners were selected by a jury of industry experts from more than 250 entries. They set Latin America’s benchmark for excellence in craft across 25 different categories. Work was entered into the competition from across the entire region including Mexico, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina and Peru.
Special Awards
Based on the work which was most awarded by the jury overall, CICLOPE Latino unveiled the Special Award honorees:
–Director of the Year: Luiz Whately
–Production Company of the Year: THE YOUTH
–Agency of the Year: Wieden+Kennedy
–Brand of the Year: PepsiCo
