Harris Sherman (l) and Brian Freia
    LOS ANGELES --

Saylor, the Los Angeles–based creative agency known for crafting entertainment-led advertising, has made two key new hires: Harris Sherman as head of production, and Brian Freia as creative director, campaigns.

“As attention gets harder to earn, brands must think and act differently to break through. They have to operate like creators,” said Will Trowbridge, founder and CEO, Saylor. “Harris and Brian bring exactly the mix of bold ideas, production rigor, and entertainment knowledge needed to help our clients not just show up, but truly make waves.”

Sherman joins as head of production to command Saylor’s growing studio operations. He will lead the wider production division while expanding the creator team’s capabilities–creating a production engine built to deliver studio-quality content at the speed of social. He brings extensive production leadership experience–including senior roles at React Media and All Def Media, and most recently as VP of production & operations at Wildcatter–and has a proven track record of scaling teams and operations, driving audience growth, and building infrastructure for high-quality, multi-platform content.

“At Saylor, we’re helping brands create the content people seek out, rather than the ads they scroll past,” said Sherman. “That requires a different kind of production muscle. I look forward to building an environment where we can execute ambitious ideas with the polish of a studio and the pace of a creator.”

As creative director, campaigns, Freia leads Saylor’s teams to develop innovative, culture-driven work and oversees projects from concept through execution to ensure campaigns are ambitious, strategically sound, and designed to perform across platforms. He brings diverse leadership experience across global agencies, most recently serving as creative director, copy at BOND. Freia’s career includes roles at Ignition, RAPP, and R&R Partners, where he developed high-caliber campaigns for brands including Chase, Mattel, Mercedes, and Hilton.

“Saylor champions bold, original thinking and strategic innovation,” said Freia. “There’s a rare mix of ambitious young talent and experienced leadership here, and I’m excited to lead the creative team in developing work that stands out, resonates with audiences, and drives meaningful impact for our clients.”

The One Club promotes Adam Izen to new chief awards officer role

    Adam Izen

The One Club for Creativity has promoted Adam Izen to the newly created position of chief awards officer, responsible for the vision, integrity, and impact of the nonprofit organization’s entire global and regional awards ecosystem.

Previously director of The One Show awards, Izen now has executive oversight of that program as well as the Art Directors Club ADC Annual Awards, Art Directors Club of Europe ADC*E Awards, ONE Asia Creative Awards, Type Directors Club TDC competition, Young Ones Student Awards, ADC Young Guns, and Next Creative Leaders program.

The position was created to unify, elevate, and future-proof the organization’s portfolio of programs, uphold standards, reinforce trust, and expand the public relevance of creative excellence.

Izen is tasked with strengthening and aligning The One Club’s brand, standards, and reputation across all awards programs, redefining how creativity is celebrated, communicated, and experienced, and transforming the club’s awards into visible, influential platforms that reflect creativity’s evolving role in culture and business.

Some of his specific responsibilities include leading the evolution of show categories, disciplines, and award structures to reflect modern creative practice, championing initiatives that expand global participation while maintaining the highest standards, and supporting experimentation with new formats and recognition models that extend beyond traditional awards cycles.

The One Club CEO Kevin Swanepoel said that beyond governance and judging, Izen will play a critical role in reshaping how the awards are presented to the world.

“Adam will ensure they function not only as competitions, but as powerful cultural platforms that amplify creativity,... Read More
