    The One Show Unveils Finalists From 51 Countries; Rethink Toronto Tops The Tally With 47

    The One Show finalists are announced
    NEW YORK --

    The One Club for Creativity has unveiled the entries from 51 countries and regions that have been selected as finalists for The One Show 2026.

    All finalists will win Gold, Silver, or Bronze Pencils or Merits, to be announced during Creative Week 2026 on May 14, and celebrated at The One Show 2026 awards ceremony on May 15 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York.

    Rethink Toronto has the most finalists in the world this year with 47, including 11 for Penguins International’s “Protest March Of The Penguins”, and 10 each for IKEA’s “Sleep Talk Reviews” and Kraft Heinz’s “Heinz Dipper”.

    Uncommon Creative Studio London has 34 finalists, including 14 for “The Periodic Fable” on behalf of The Ordinary, and seven for Britbox’s “See It Differently”.

    Three entrants are tied with 26 One Show 2026 finalists each: Apple Cupertino, including eight for “I’m Not Remarkable–Accessibility”; FCB Chicago, including 24 for Rakish Entertainment’s “Caption with Intention; and VML New York, including nine each for Mondelez/OREO’s “Name This OREO” and SC Johnson/Ziploc’s “Preserved Promos.”

    Courage Inc. Toronto claimed 23 finalist slots, including 11 for KFC Canada’s “Kyle F*cking Connor.” With 21 finalists is Area 23 New York, including five each for Gavião Kyikatejê Futebol Clube’s “Kyikatejê” and Equality Health Foundation’s “Zip Code Exam”.

    Other top 2026 One Show finalists are LePub México with 20, followed by DAVID Madrid, Special US Los Angeles, and TBWA\Canada Toronto with 17 each.

    This year’s global jury selected a total of 1,345 finalists from 51 countries and regions. The complete searchable list of finalists for The One Show 2026 is available here.

    Creative Week 2026
    Now in its 17th year, Creative Week is a premier annual gathering for the advertising and design industries to come together and celebrate the creative excellence showcased in The One Club’s leading global awards shows: The One Show, ADC 105th Annual Awards, and Young Ones Student Awards.

    This year’s One Show ceremony on May 15 also includes announcement of the inaugural One Show Members Choice Award, as voted from among this year’s top winners by The One Club membership, and 2026 Creative Hall of Fame inductees.

    Other Creative Week 2026 programming includes The One Club AI Creative Challenge, exclusive Executive Creative Summit 2026, Client Pitch Competition, in person and virtual Portfolio Reviews, Type Directors Club TDC Lettering Walk, and informative daily Morning Buzz panels.

    The BBC is hosting a party for David Attenborough at the Royal Albert Hall. Cinemas are playing his nature films. Friends have spent weeks lavishing praise on the man and his work. But the world's most famous wildlife presenter is likely to be uncomfortable with all the attention as he celebrates his 100th birthday on Friday, said Alastair Fothergill, the producer of some of Attenborough's most well-known documentaries and the director of Silverback Films. "He's always been very clear to all of us that work with him: 'Remember, the animals are the stars, I'm not,''' Fothergill told The Associated Press. "So, yes, surprisingly for one of the most famous men on the planet, he doesn't like being famous at all." Glorious gorillas But Attenborough has had to accept the accolades this week as scientists, politicians and conservationists celebrated the man who has brought frolicking gorillas, breaching whales and tiny poisonous frogs into living rooms around the world for more than 70 years. Through BBC programs such as "Life on Earth," "The Private Life of Plants" and "The Blue Planet," Attenborough has illuminated the beauty, ferocity and sometimes downright weirdness of nature in a hushed melodic voice that conveys his own awe at what he is witnessing. Viewers who might never leave their hometowns were transported to the Himalayas, the Amazon and th unexplored forests of Papua New Guinea. But behind the stunning images was an attention to scientific accuracy that helped teach people about complex subjects like evolution, animal behavior and biodiversity.
