    NEW YORK -- (SPW) --

The Slightest Touch, directed by Rachel Fleit and edited by Sloane Klevin, ACE, has won Best Documentary at the Dublin International Film Festival, days after HBO Documentary Films acquired the television and streaming rights ahead of its world premiere.

The feature documentary, which chronicles the friendship between Colin Farrell and Epidermolysis Bullosa survivor Emma Fogarty, was honored by the Dublin jury with the following statement (in part):

“This next award is for an incredible film… One through which we as an audience came to know both protagonists in ways which would not have been possible, were it not for the unobtrusive talent of the director, who seamlessly documents a story as old as time itself… Rachel Fleit has captured the magic moments of this extraordinary friendship… What follows is an honest and at times searing portrayal of pain in all its forms and the power of humanity and humor to make lives better for all… The jury agreed that The Slightest Touch and director Rachel Fleit is the worthy winner of the documentary category of this year’s Film Festival.”

Edited by Union Editorial Partner Sloane Klevin, ACE, the film continues Fleit’s long creative partnership with the company. Union President and Managing Partner Michael Raimondi and Head of Production, TV and Film Katherine LeBlond served as Executive Producers.

“What I cherish most about making The Slightest Touch is that it was built on the long-standing creative relationships and deep trust I have with Union Editorial,” said Fleit. “Executive Producer Michael Raimondi and the team at Union Editorial have believed in my voice for over eleven years. That kind of sustained support is rare, and it’s allowed me to keep pushing toward the kind of intimate, vulnerable storytelling that defines my work.

Executive Producer Katherine LeBlond truly went above and beyond. She protected the spirit of the film at every turn and approached the work with both rigor and heart.

This was my fourth collaboration with Sloane Klevin, and she was masterful as always. Sloane has an extraordinary instinct for pace and sensitivity. She knows how to carve space for breath, for silence, for what’s unsaid, and she also knows exactly when a moment needs levity. And Milos Zivkovic brought that same care to the sound design and mix, elevating every moment with precision and empathy.”

Union’s contributions included assistant editor Carmen Bartolomé Valls, graphics and VFX by Union NYC, and sound design and mix by Miloš Zivkovic.

The Slightest Touch was produced by Fine Point Films Ltd and Chapel Place Productions in association with The Kennedy/Marshall Company, ORIGINAL FILMS, DESHE CAPITAL LLC, The DeNovo Initiative, Union Editorial, Northern Ireland Screen and Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland.

With HBO’s acquisition and its Dublin win, The Slightest Touch is now poised to reach a global audience.

SB LX: Union’s Marco Perez Edits ‘Sticky Note’ Taking a Stand For Blue Square Alliance Against Hate

    Sunday, February 8, 2026
This SB LX entry transforms a simple gesture into a powerful act of allyship.

Union partner and editor Marco Perez brings a restrained, emotionally precise approach to “Sticky Note,” a Super Bowl 2026 commercial that transforms a simple gesture into a powerful act of allyship. Created by VML, the ad was directed by Jake Scott and produced by RSA for Blue Square Alliance Against Hate. The piece follows a Jewish teenager targeted by a slur, only to find support from a Black classmate who replaces hate with a blue square, signaling empathy, shared experience, and resolve. Perez’s work is supported by Union Editorial New York’s team, including Managing Director Caryn Maclean, Executive Producer Melissa Lubin, Assistant Editor Nico Gilmore, Head of Production Lily Hartmann, and Assistant Producer Francesca Raimondi. Finishing was also done at Union Editorial. About The Blue Square Alliance At Blue Square Alliance Against Hate, we are dedicated to combating antisemitism through positive messaging and partnerships. Our initiative, Stand Up to Jewish Hate, is designed to empower both non-Jews and Jews to become defenders and upstanders for the Jewish community. We are passionate about promoting understanding, empathy, and tolerance among different groups, and our ultimate goal is to create a more inclusive and accepting world for all. Show your support today. Post and share the blue square #🟦 Read More
