Tinygiant has signed director Abigail Horton for U.S. representation spanning commercials and branded content.
She joins the production company at a moment of positive creative momentum, following a breakout year that saw the success of her debut feature film Blow Up My Life and commercial collaborations with brands like Kraft, Spotify, and General Mills.
Horton’s work effortlessly bridges independent film and advertising, balancing sharp humor, character-driven performances, and a strong cinematic sensibility. Her short films have premiered at festivals including SXSW and Fantastic Fest, earning multiple Vimeo Staff Picks, while her Blow Up My Life, starring Jason Selvig (The Good Liars) and Kara Young (two-time Tony winner), was praised by Moviemaker Magazine as being “one of the coolest and most ambitious films we saw this year.”
“I’ve always been drawn to stories that find absurdity in the everyday, whether it’s a romantic software commercial or a short film about racquetball. Tinygiant feels like the perfect home for that kind of storytelling. They champion bold ideas, clever humor, and a collaborative spirit that encourages directors to aim higher,” said Horton.
Horton’s commercial and branded directorial resume lists campaigns for Skittles, YouTube and Oreo, with agencies including Wieden+Kennedy and The Martin Agency. Prior to joining Tinygiant, Horton was most recently repped in the ad arena by Slumber Party. Her industry recognition includes being named one of Filmmaker Magazine’s “25 New Faces of Independent Film,” winning two Gold Cannes Young Director Awards, and a shortlist nomination for the D&AD Next Director Award for her short film Night Stalker.
“Abigail is a force, her work is sharp, surprising, and deeply human,” said Veronica Diaferia, founder and executive producer at Tinygiant. “She’s fearless in her storytelling and brings a fresh comedic and cinematic edge that aligns perfectly with Tinygiant’s mission to push creative boundaries while staying grounded in authenticity.”
A graduate of Wesleyan University, Horton is a member of the National Board of Review and Film Fatales.
With Horton’s addition, Tinygiant continues to expand its comedy-focused roster, which includes Doron Max Hagay, Chloe Coetsee, and Stoney Sharp.
