Juan Manuel “Papon” Ricciarelli, founder and CEO of DON (l) and María José Ezquerra, CEO, Havas Argentina
NEW YORK & LOS ANGELES --

Representatives of the Joint Policy Committee and SAG-AFTRA have commenced negotiations on successor agreements to the 2022 commercials contracts. Both parties have already agreed on one front–to institute a media blackout and to offer no further comment….

Havas has acquired DON, a prominent independent creative agency in Latin America. Headquartered in Buenos Aires and Mexico City, DON’s team of 140 professionals brings a strong reputation for cutting-edge creativity, deep market expertise, and an impressive portfolio of award-winning campaigns for Latin America’s leading brands. Over the past year, DON has experienced a particularly strong growth momentum, securing a record number of new clients, with a roster spanning industries such as fast-moving consumer goods, financial services, transportation, and beyond. DON joins the organization under Havas Creative Network, relocating immediately to Havas Village Argentina, where the agency will integrate with HOY Argentina. Moving forward, DON and HOY Argentina will operate under the name, “DON by Havas.” DON’s leadership team–including founder and CEO Juan Manuel “Papon” Ricciarelli–will stay on to ensure continuity and preserve its distinctive creative identity….

The Midnight Club names Emily Mitchell as its first managing director

    Wednesday, April 29, 2026

The Midnight Club has promoted Emily Mitchell to the new role of managing director, where she will lead the collective’s strategic growth agenda, and help shape its future direction to ensure the business is set up to expand with intent.

The Midnight Club is the 360 creative studio from MIDNIGHTTM Creative Group, which Mitchell joined last July as group brand director, helping to connect its strategic, creative, production, and creative technology offerings. As managing director, she will continue to work across the group, reporting to founder Ben Moutrie.

Prior to joining, she spent 11 years at McCann London, where she was the global strategic lead across the Pernod Ricard portfolio of brands, and Wimbledon Tennis Championships, among others. Alongside that, she championed the agency’s effectiveness agenda, and led McCann Worldgroup’s Global Luxury consultancy offering. Between 2018 and 2019 she spent 10 months working at McCann Tokyo across two secondments.

Mitchell is also the founder of Konker, an app aimed at new parents looking for stress-free family adventures in London, available on the app store and android. She developed and launched Konker while on her own maternity leave.

Moutrie, founder of TMC--which has more than 120 people across, London, NYC, Los Angeles, Portland, Amsterday and Leeds--said, “Em’s promotion after just 10 months speaks for itself. We’ve been searching for our first MD for some time--her energy, entrepreneurial instinct and razor-sharp strategic mind made the decision easy. We’re proud to see her step into such a pivotal role and continue to push the company forward.”

Mitchell said, “After more than a decade in a global agency network, I wasn’t looking to do the same job in a... Read More
