After a successful first year with Stink in the U.K., director Ariel Kleiman is extending his commitment with the production house and will be represented by it in the U.S. as well. Kleiman is directing the second season of crime mystery drama Top of the Lake--China Girl, set in his homeland of Australia. Season two debuted this past Sunday in the U.S. Kleiman’s 2008 film Young Love made a major splash at the Sundance Film Festival. His short Deeper Than Yesterday won several accolades at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival, including the Discovery Award and Small Golden Rail, and went on to receive the Short Filmmaking Award at the 2011 Sundance Fest....
