Commenting Policy

By commenting, the commenter grants SHOOTonline.com (the site) a license to post your comments. This license is worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, and royalty-free. You grant the site the right to store, use, transmit, display, publish, reproduce, and distribute your comments in any format, including but not limited to a news or features story, SPW Release, Screenwork section, blog page, other site pages, in a book, a video, or presentation. Commenters retain ownership of their comments. SHOOTonline.com does not own them and expressly disclaims any and all liability that may result from them.

SHOOTonline.com comments are intended to be civil, friendly conversations. Please treat other participants with respect and in a way that you would want to be treated. You are responsible for what you say. And please, stay on topic. A comment which does not add to the conversation, runs of on an inappropriate tangent, or kills the conversation may be deleted. We welcome debate. You may disagree with an author. However, if you disagree do so in a way that is respectful.

If you see an objectionable post, please report it to us using the “Flag as Abuse” option by clicking the flag to the right of the commenter's username. But please use your flagging powers wisely.

Please note that comments are monitored by SHOOTonline.com staff. Moderators have broad discretion to remove comments that violate this Commenting Policy. We reserve the right at all times to remove any information or materials that are unlawful, threatening, abusive, libelous, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, pornographic, profane, indecent or otherwise objectionable. Personal attacks, including references to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin, especially on other participants, are not permitted. We reserve the right to permanently block any user who violates these terms and conditions.

Additionally comments that are excessively long, have multiple paragraph breaks, include code, or include hyperlinks may be deleted.

No spam please. Comment form must be filled in with a proper or legitimate sounding name and email/URL. Comments using keywords, spam or splog-like URLs, or suspicious information in the comment form may not be approved and could be deleted. Any comment assumed to be possible comment spam will be deleted and marked as comment spam.

No ad-hominen attacks, repeat posts, off-topic rants, user identity theft, death threats, or hate speech.
